"Reservations are a must! If you are planning to visit Fribourg and want to eat in a very classy, old fashioned atmosphere with a superb service and gastronomic food at affordable prices, this is the place to go. You can have a lunch menu for...CHF29.00 and if you do not want a dessert, it is only CHF 23.00 (Mind you that Big Mac Menu in Switzerland is CHF 15. ! But this has nothing to do with price the overall package of this Fribourg's gastronomical temple is where you get the most value. The staff is super friendly and amusing even funny (Sommelier Lorrent Montagne is a total blast , they all speak perfect english and are super friendly to explain to your every single detail about the ingredients which will wake your taste buds up! White, thick table cloth, reminded me of the Great Gatsby Belle Epoque and heavy ustensiles of those pre 2nd WW restaurants. You will be missing a lot of Fribourg if you don't pop in for a great three course meal."

Food is good, presentation of the plates are great, sauces and blending of taste and colours are refined and one can see there's a lot of effort behind it. One off point though. A condescending attitude from one of your personnel was not great but we'll definitely come again for the food. Voir le carte

a bit strange to find the way from the entrance to the restaurant in the first floor, but then they will be in a beautiful restaurant with excellent kitchen, beautiful staff and a great view during the daylight. solid, well cooked food, moderate price for the quality they receive. worth a visit!

My favorite place in Fribourg! The friendly crew creates a relaxed atmosphere in this great place in the center of the town. If you go there as a couple, ask for one of the small tables on the balcony with a stunning view of the...old city. What comes in your plate is plain bliss. Go with the menu and just taste chef Frédérik's creations which are adapted to the season and feature mainly local produce. You can often see him choosing fresh fruits and vegetables at the local market which takes place every Saturday morning in front of the restaurant. If you want to taste this great cooking without spending much money, go for the meal at lunchtime.
