"I booked to have a quick steak but the experience was not up to scratch. The Waldorf in NY is excellent. This is not. The front desk was a mess probably because there was conference going on in one of the large rooms, so the bar and restaurant were busy with people looking for conf hall, or just milling about. The signs were slightly misleading to restaurant so we ended walking around the whole ground. There was a misunderstanding at restaurant with the reservation, we ended up having dinner at Steak at stylish STK across the road and cocktails at Savoy (Beaufort Bar)which are next door. In London's central location with some much choice they need to better."

My mother, whom invited for her 82nd birthday, said it was the best afternoon tea she ever had had Excellent service, including from a dedicated tea sommelier. Very pleasant and unobtrusive harp music. A very special experience.

Booked online, but when we arrived there was no record of our Booking although it was confirmed in email on my phone. I had seen from previous reviews this had been a problem before we were still accommodated, and the service was excellent, food was delivered and outstanding, despite being a limited menu for a lunchtime and the cocktails were absolutely wonderful the bill was reasonable, apart from £11 tax charged, and £8.50!service charge slapped on, but worth it for a very pleasant dining experience for my daughters birthday as a pre show meal highly recommended thank you
