"We had our Dad's wake here, and the staff looked after us well. The buffet was lovely and well presented. They also did a dairy free selection, which was good. They also made a lovely orange trifle, which seemed to be a big hit with everyone. Dietary restrictions: They did cater for dairy free, which was nice. Went to see Unit Six play on Saturday, 19/08. Pub is lovely, first time there. Atmosphere excellent and good facilities. Some of the bar staff were a little unfriendly but maybe that was because it was busy. Didn't have food, so cannot comment on that. I absolutely love coming to this restaurant. The food is delicious and you definitely get great value for your money. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Steak and Ale Pie, accompanied by chips, peas, and gravy. There is plenty of parking available as well.
