"twice with the family there, the place is beautiful with view on mainz and the weinberge. the service was both great, very nice as they have children's menus that are color pages, and they also bring colored pencils. prices are quite high, but eating is very good. at the first time we sat inside, it is very beautifully decorated and beautiful. the second time we sat outside, because the weather was great, but there was a problem with the light and we ate in the dark until the nice waitress brought us a table lamp from the office. they should know that if they order a steak of any kind, they can get a hot stone as grill and raw meat and grill it themselves. it's a nice experience, but they should be aware that they will wait a while until they can eat. if they decide - take the lamb chops, they are delicious and the hard work absolutely worth (;"

beautiful atmosphere, perfect it area in free and little sport. kitchen - typical for the German, heavy - and durable. good taste, good appetizers and good main dishes, even if served by a Swedish buffet. the service is fast and not too noticeable what makes this location even better.

we were in a very nice restaurant in mainz, Germany, and they can see from there the whole Rhine Valley. the place is very beautiful. eating was good, not cheap. really recommend. we eat 2 species of salat with meat and fish, saspacio and mushroom soup. n so when they visit mainz, this will be a beautiful experience

this review is a bit spoiled because I can only report that it was a nice place and that eating was good. we were invited here by our host to dinner, so I have no feeling for the price. measured on the first-class wine tasting, the excellent service and the great food it must be expensive. the view from the terrace was beautiful. eat outdoors. at a business event in this location I was impressed by the location of the farm and its panoramic view of the surroundings. the grounds and the buildings of the farm offer many possibilities to relax, dine and drink and to connect with businessmen. the hofgut is a great place for business and group events, as I have found that the service can provide for the number.

my colleagues brought me here, because I prefer to eat in a German restaurant. the setting was good and the eating was also very good, though a bit expensive. I ate a local fish (forgot the name) and was surprised that none of my German colleagues had ever eaten this fish. the fish was good, and all my colleagues said you were eating great. the ambiente was good and they had a good wine card, terrace, view etc.

obviously very mixed views about this restaurant. I was there with a group of 12 for a late lunch. it was very warm and we sat on the top terrace. the service was initially a little slow, but they offered us quick more umbrellas than the sun became somewhat overwhelming. all im oarty were satisfied with their eating and I ordered a medium rare steak, which was almost perfectly prepared. the prices seemed appropriate for quality and the portions were abundant. they offered us a small greeting from the kitchen to start (brot, fresh cheese and homemade ham) also very good. I can recommend this locally unrestricted. Voir le carte

the best of this restaurant is the great panoramic view and the good wine. with beautiful weather you can sit outside on the terrace. great for a date! the restaurant is approx. 5 km from the mainzer city. (10 min by car) the best way to get there is with the car. there is also a public bus stop about 5 min. to walk from the restaurant. by the way, the international airport frankfurt is approx. 25 minutes by car. eating was in order, it is in the ground chic presented local food, just a little more expensive than the local wine house dishes. I can't imagine going there on a day with bad weather. the service was also in order.

I participated in this place in a business event and all were impressed by the location and the beautiful view. they also have a small ice-skating place where they can either run a skid or play the so-called ice-cream shoot (this is a local version of the Olympic curling). in the same opposite you can also taste the glüwine, i.e. the warm wein with seasoning (which naturally does well in winter). the restaurant itself is also very nice, but eating is nothing special. they can eat typical dishes of German tradition, but they should expect nothing extraordinary to me. prices are not very low, but still affordable. the waiting period was quite long compared to other restaurants in Germany. "we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."
