"Supplement to my review of 06.11.2014 General With a friend I was on the road with the motorcycle and the small tour led us to the Schaumbergalm at 11:30. Ideal for foot-sick two-wheelers, because while cars have to park below the foam plateau, bikers can drive the remaining 200m with their companion to the top of the plateau. Since my last visit, the beer garden has been completely finished, one has built a covered wooden galley, on which – as the host Danny told me – music bands from the region play up to the guests of the Schaumbergalm every Sunday from 4 p.m. in the summer. There, of course, only literally, burns the hut on the Schaumberg. The Schaumbergalm was as usual well visited. Since a larger group of pensioners were picked up from their bus, we got a nice place on the terrace right in front of the restaurant right on the railing to the slope with magnificent view over the northern Saarland. But surely everyone will find a seat on the Alm, because the beer garden takes up 300 guests, but here you have to use yourself. Eat Since we both had breakfast late, hunger was not so great. My companion chose a small “hearty ham bread” with raw ham from the enticing, good-bourgeois alpine pass, first-class in taste and how spicy rich and lovingly garnished with two slices of hard-cooked egg, cucumber, onions, paprika rings red and yellow, radishe slices and leek rings, cucumber and tomato; all at the price of 4,20€. At Danny's time in Freisen, I have repeatedly ordered a Schnitzelweck, so today my choice for the “small” hunger in between. A freshly baked baguette bread, painted with ketchup and Mayo, salad leaf as a bed for a neat carving, lean, buttery and juicy, with great spicy panade, green slices and onion rings on top. Costs 4,70€, tastes and you get rich. Conclusion: also for the small time of painting or on coffee and cakes it is worth the ride to the Schaumbergalm"

"We were only without reservation at the entrance, 16:20 a.m., were rejected by a very unfriendly service schroff on the grounds that all tables were reserved. You can't accept any other guests because there is too little staff. Two thirds of the tables were unoccupied. We'll get out of the door and have a table reserved online for 16:45. Then it was too. The service at the table didn't work at all, but the service was completely overwhelmed because you had to work alone with some unmotivated snarchnas. Food and drinks very expensive, but good staff is saved"

"Es ist ein Imbiss, der vor Ort in einem furchterregenden Zustand daherkommt. Wer sich jetzt fragt, wie sich das auf die Speisen auswirkt, stellt die richtigen Fragen. Leider kann man nicht das Kochgeschehen einsehen, vielleicht besser so. Mit der Umstellung der App wurde auch das Freigetränk gestrichen, das entspricht einer Preiserhöhung. Die Betreiber sind wohl aus dem pakistanischen Raum (wie fast alles hier in der Gegend, siehe ibs. Lieferando), das indische Essen ist auch nicht gut. Schnitzel essbar... Alternative wird gesucht"

"After an hour waiting time we had personally registered with the restaurant as we ordered online. Upon request, the answer that we would not have ordered and paid even though the money was debited by PayPal. After a short feedback we come by because we live only a place away, we were told that money is sent back by PayPal and thus was placed by the restaurant. On the way to the car to visit the restaurant we got a call that the printer does not function and only orders received before and after us. Thus, after a waiting period of 2 hours, the order could be found again. statement of restaurant: 15 min delivery time. Thank you very hungry. No excuse, not even a little gesture. And the best that the supplier comes with the statement the order would not be paid! (Ironie on) Perfect Friday night on the couch, thank you very much! (Ironie off)"
