"In my 62 years of life, I have never walked out of a restaurant feeling so disgusted. The breakfast I ordered was the worst I have ever tasted. The baked beans were barely edible, and after just one bite, I couldn't stomach any more. My daughter's baked potato was hard, reheated, and had a powdery white residue around the edges. The cafe itself looked rundown, and one of the regular customers was loudly swearing to himself. When I offered to pay for a free breakfast, he refused. I didn't even have the energy to ask for a refund. This experience has made me reluctant to give the cafe a second chance. It seems like they must have paid for their 5-star reviews, because the reality is far from being 5-star worthy."

Friendly helpful service,a good tasty breakfast, no thrills but good value. Returned and you can get pick your items on a breakfast,great value, not greasy, dog friendly cafe that always brings out a bit sausage for my dog.returned a year later but very greasy.

Great place to eat, reasonably priced for good home cooked food. Really large portions. So great value for money. Had a lovely roast lamb dinner. The service is brilliant, the owner is really hard working and has had the cafe since 1975, he is such a happy, helpful caring person. All staff are great and hardworking and always helpful. The atmosphere is great friendly and cosy atmosphere. Situated in the heart of Folkestone near the shops and near the old high street.
