"NEVER JUDGE A CURRY BY IT'S SHOP FRONT. First time. Chicken tikka starter came with generous portion of juicy, spicy chicken and a small garnish of salad PLUS a delicious little sauce...mango? passion fruit? mixed with something to give it a great tang that complimented the chicken. I suspect their chicken tikka masala will be something really good. I do like a Madras. Lamb madras was hot enough with fresh coriander and a really nice gravy. Tender, decent sized chunks of lamb. Plain nan. Mmm, fresh, with tiny bit of crunchy, fluffy and very good size. The shop front is tiny but clean with some seating and magazines for while you wait. The front man was extremely polite, courteous and friendly. I am surprised he didn't sweat....the phone keeps ringing for orders this was about 7pm Sunday. They do free local delivery with their own driver for orders over £12. I think this is both good and bad. £12 is too cheap.... consequently their single driver is dashing about all over the place and therefore....some deliveries will be late. Raise it to £20 like most curry houses and then you could take on an extra driver for the busy time (presumably weekends). Price wise ..... FANTASTIC. VERY GOOD VALUE. So, forget how the shop front looks and trust your taste buds."

Half Tandoori chicken, Vegetable curry, Rice, Lamb with lentils, all for £13!! The lamb was a bit tough, tandoori chicken was great! for the price I paid I cannot complain!!!

A hidden gem in Islington! The food is flavorful, clean, and well priced, especially for a kitchen in london. Their team is welcoming and helpful. We always enjoyed their beryani and tikka dishes, and I would recommend to give this place a try.

Local place, family run, can’t fault it really tasty good value food and the service is amazing. Just listening to the locals when they come in, they’ve got a real genuine connection to the community. Absolutely love this place it’s my favourite Thursday night treat! Voir le carte

I ordered on a rainy evening for delivery The delivery arrived around 30min later I didn't have cash, they've been very accommodating to be able to pay by card The food was good and the portions were enough, and I'm a big eater The price was more than correct £15 for 2 people with delivery) I really recommend this place!

The price here is a rarity in London.. cheapest Indian meal I've ever had in the city. I ordered dall lentil soup, and I love it. My friend had korma and garlic naan. Korma was too sweet for my taste, but he seemed to enjoy it. Garlic naan was ok, more like supermarket quality. Everything was £10, fed two of us and the bag came with free poppadoms.
