"we thought that after the reopening of a new owner we could look forward to new balcony highlights. Well, it wasn't exactly as I thought. old menu with new trips, partly raised between 4 and 6 euro per court. Well, this is where inflation is particularly high. then the food came as under the old owner, but now to the individual components. I had a typical grill plate that I like to take in every balkan restaurant. the leber was made world-class, I just have to say that. the pork steak, dry fried, the pommes in poor quality, the hacksteak ok. but the djuvecreis had a sublimely sourished, was probably not quite fresh anymore. my partner had a putenschnitzel likener art, complete from the fritteuse, with the same soft, small pommes at a price of 15.50€. I said pute, not calf! to the end we were looking forward to the warm julischka that was drunk with the old owner. then came a small glass bottle cooler. Okay, sorry!"

Dropped in as the place we had planned to go was closed. What good luck for us! Service quick, linen table clothes, nice salad bar (German style) and a menu with over dishes. And the one native German in our group swears best snitzle...he's had in years!

Hilbecker Hof is on the Bundesstrasse a bypass for those who want to avoid the frequent jams between Kreuz Werl and Kreuz Dortmund/Unna. The menu offers a mix of traditional German food and Balkan style. It is a big restaurant. A bit sterile,...increased by the attitude of the staff: friendly but not very personal. Typical a main route restaurant with many only once' visitors. The food is served fast and of good quality. The portions are large. The salad you can take yourself from a bar but the choice is very basic. The temperature of my alcohol free Weizenbeer was too high. It is quite expensive but not extreme for a main road restaurant.
