"We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned two nights later to celebrate our actual anniversary dinner. The front-of-house manager recognized us immediately and welcomed us warmly, maintaining that friendly atmosphere for our second visit. Without a doubt, whenever we plan a return trip to Scotland, Greens will be on our itinerary! As for pricing, both visits cost us around £30-40 per person, which included one drink, one entrée, and one dessert — a truly reasonable price. Regarding vegetarian options, while I didn't specifically ask, I noticed plenty of items marked with (VE) for vegetarian. When inquiring about celiac accommodations, we were informed that nearly the entire menu, including desserts, could be safely prepared with the right precautions. I found it quite impressive to discover such an accommodating restaurant in a small city. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. We especially recommend the brownie, slow-cooked lamb, and seafood dishes."

"We visited this restaurant for dinner and were impressed by the beautiful presentation of all the dishes. We started with the hot smoked salmon terrine, followed by the crispy duck salad and orcchietti with Tuscan fennel sausage. Each dish was unique and had a perfect balance of flavors. It was truly a delightful experience. We also loved the Thistly Cross Scottish cider. We highly recommend this place, and suggest making a reservation in advance as it can get busy."

"Called in for takeaway sandwiches and cakes. We had coronation chicken sandwiches which came with salad and a very tasty salad dressing. They have a very nice sweet selection we opted for Lemon Meringue which was absolutely delicious. They stock a range of ice cream we had Scottish Tablet in a single cone. You got a good helping of ice cream with the option of having a flake if you wanted. We didn’t have any drinks so I cannot comment. The shop is clean and bright with a few tables and chairs if you wish to eat in. They also sell gifts which looked very nice too. Would we go again? Yes without hesitation"

"last week for the first time in a visit (tourist) his bakers i alway make sure that I arrive when on vacation in the opposite. the personal is always nice, but they seem to answer their order with a question each time! For...Instance I ordered a broth roll with cheese-omats, there is still some of the kitchen to order? no thanks, can I have two cream doughnuts, are there other cakes with this order? No, thanks. what kind of cake do you have? went through her that quickly I could only get to the mint kartoffel I ordered and was beautiful. I recommend you to visit this bakery when they are in the opposite, but cake selection is not great, but what they have is alway beautiful. now I've deducted from the rating for the star. how very disappointed to learn that they have not sold my favourite ice cream anymore! what? your ice was the best of all time, but you don't sell it anymore! I can't understand why it was always a favorite among all I know. I even traveled to bora, hoping that they had it, but no, I was disappointed, as this was another reason to visit this little gem. please tell me why they stopped selling ice. if they happen to visit these bakers, they will get the cream doughnut, its for serious, best ever die."

"As I was leaving the shop up the road, the shopkeeper told me, "I'm sorry, we don't usually allow dogs." I responded, "I'm sorry, but you should have a sign saying so." The shopkeeper then said, in a patronizing tone, "We do." However, when I went outside and looked at the door, there was no sign at all. I decided to walk along to CocoaMountain, where there was a sign that said "Dogs welcome." The delightful girl assistant there gave my dog a biscuit and made me an excellent cappuccino. This coffee shop is warm, friendly, and reasonably priced. It truly is a lovely place and deserves to thrive."
