"This weekend I went to my first 'All you can eat ' sushi for my friends birthday. I was a bit perplexed about the concept, the amount of food and the quality of the food we will get. I went with three of my friends who are addicted all you can eat sushi. I was the only one who didn 't know this restaurant in the group. The 'All you can eat ' menu is called Tasting menu in this restaurant. Far away from the usual Japanese chef 's special tasting menu, here you were offered two pieces of paper (see pictures below). The first one is a limited choice of sushi, sashimi, nigiri and three specials called 'bonus dishes '. You can order 5 of sushi sashimi and you can repeat these dishes 5 times...read more"

Although the food will be good, Izakaya's are japanese pubs/bars. In Japan these places are centred more around Fried foods, Sashimi and broth/soups. Having great sushi in an Izakaya would be like having Fine cuisine in your local pub. Voir le carte

I had a Salmon California Maki Roll, but the real treat was the Hip Hop Roll (crab meat, avocado, wrapped with Tataki Salmon fried garlic on top) the salmon was ever so slightly blow torched and so it had a delicious smoky taste and combined with the garlic too, it was deelish!

The sushi was very good. Try the dragon roll but I suggest ask for no Mayo as it does detract from the overall dish. I also had the duck in plum salsa which was very good. Beware, the dishes do not come with anything else so make sure you order some side dishes. Overall I rate it 80%.

only for the a la carte. we love this place, but only if they eat the a la carte and not everything they can eat. to be fair, we had good quality on the set menu, but it met and miss. much better to choose their own dishes, the rock shrimp tempura is a great dish as it is any of the sashimi Voir le carte

this was the second time that I went to the hi sushi izakaya to the corner of the covent garden. I was not disappointed. all they can eat is definitiw one of my favorite eating experiences and this place gets it right! the type of order is that there are two menus. one that they order a single order of ten hot items and another that they order five types of sushi in five separate rounds. the amount of sushi offered in every round is not disappointing and is of great value! starting from the Miso soup to the sashimi, eating was fresh, juicy and worth every penny. my personal favorites included their Californian rolling, pickle rolls and the salmon...read more

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
