"Place in the historic center with classic exposed star vaults. Attention to the smallest details. Friendly staff, courteous and available to satisfy any request. The staff pays a lot of attention to the customer. Fresh and excellent quality food. Here you can eat the classic traditional Salento dishes also revisited in a modern way. I have to say that I really enjoyed it. The appetizers are no exception. I can't comment on the second courses as I didn't take anything because between starters (pittule, meatballs, panzerottk dn potatoes, skewers of prawns, mussels, marinated anchovies, white broad bean puree with wild chicory and much more) and the first course (pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and flakes of scamorza) I was already full. Wide choice of desserts. The wine list is excellent. Congratulations to all the staff and especially to the chef. Advise I will definitely return"

"We went there last night for our daughter's 18th birthday as we wanted something different from the offerings in Gallipoli. The staff were delightful; they were helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The restaurant is well decorated in a contemporary style with a fresh meat display counter at the back from which you choose your options. The food was simply excellent the quality, preparation and presentation delivered exactly what we wanted. As one other reviewer has said, the bill was an irrelevance when it arrived as the restaurant had delivered such a great experience. Not going if you're anywhere near Nardo would be missing a treat."

"Delicious! I enjoyed: seafood salad, mixed (cold) veg, salmon carpaccio which was quite salty and maybe over marinaded but great none-the-less, lemon sorbet and white wine. They also do frittura di mare which looked great too. To finish I had a coffee flavoured with Baileys. Spot on! Costly but worth it . They also have a 'lunch for €9.90 ' offer but I didn 't see that until too late and there was no suggestion what might be included in that."

"from a gluten intolerant person, I am very happy to have found this place. pizza no gluten is good and friendly staff. my acquaintances who ate pizza with wheat dough were also satisfied. I will return! I would recommend to the staff to advertise much more all the options they offer (gluten-free, vegan, lactose-free etc. are not many local equipped for us and find a place that can offer quality products suitable for the needs of many is a strong point in their favor. then write it maybe out of the local, and top in the Cubist Characters menu that offer vegan alternatives, gluten-free etc. just a little advice from passionate marketing"
