"Just grabbed 2 cod and chips from Henry Higgins and as usual absolutely banging!! Huge portion, cooked amazingly, not greasy at all. Succulent cod in a super crispy batter and the best chips in southend. Amazing value compared to the other chip shops around. If you really appreciate decent fish and chips don't bother going anywhere else use these guys, you will not be disappointed."

As always freshly cooked to order, batter on the cod is superb and light but crispy. Chips also awesome and crisp but super fluffy centre. I have been visiting for a few years now and NEVER EVER had anything other than a flawless meal. Friends I’ve recommended also always agree.
