Amazing place to eat, the food is always brilliant and the staff are so nice and friendly. Amazing view of the river with plenty of seats inside and out. Reasonably priced as well for such great quality food! My favourite place for a roast in this area would highly recommend

We dined there last night and had a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional. We made a last-minute change from two to four people, and it was no problem at all; everyone was incredibly friendly. As for the food, the lamb that three of us ordered was absolutely delicious. Great job, everyone! Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 3.

This was my first visit, and I was impressed by the beautiful setting. The beer was well-kept and refreshing. I came in for a solo meal, and everything was fantastic. I had the mushroom stilton risotto, which looked and tasted incredible. The service was relaxed yet attentive. I’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to others! Voir le carte

This is a fantastic pub with excellent beer, wine, and apple wine. I've heard the cocktails are delightful as well. The desserts were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The staff was highly skilled and attentive. However, the burgers we tried were some of the worst we've ever had—dry, bland, and boiled. Thankfully, the BBQ sauce helped to improve them a bit.

It was delightful...the setting is quite unlike a lot of places in that the restaurant offers a lot of opportunities to make your dining experience with friends more private, with almost completely separate areas. We visited to celebrate a friends 40th birthday with five noisy kids between us. The staff where especially friendly and accommodating which is exactly what we needed in these current times. I look forwards to going back as we all do.

We found this restaurant through a Google Maps search while having lunch in Bury St. Edmunds on our way to South Essex. The location by the river is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our Sunday dinner was served hot after just a short wait, and the food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The roast beef and roast lamb were particularly tasty. The tables were arranged for safety, making us feel comfortable during our meal. We will definitely return! Voir le carte
