We couldn't get steak when we visited because they were out of it at that moment but we had ribs which was good. The salad bar was the highlight for me. Staff are so friendly too

Sheena was brilliant, top class service and looked after us. Good banter made us feel really welcome. Had the festive menu which was great, strongly recommend you pop in and try the place. Will be back

We had to wait a long time before being acknowledged upon arrival at the restaurant, and once we were seated, it took quite a while for our order to be taken. The food was served promptly, but the vegetables were lukewarm and the burger bun was burnt on the inside. The starters of mushrooms and prawn cocktail were decent, and the salad bar was satisfactory.

My husband and I are retired and visit Harvester on a regular basis. We have just started buying the bundle which with unlimited salad is excellent value for money. The food is hot and well cooked. .I have never had any problems with any of the staff and would like to highlight the service we received on the last two visits from GINA. She is genuinely interested in bringing whatever is needed.

Went here for breakfast with my parents, service was fantastic, fast and easy. Both servers were lovely, very personable and incredibly helpful. Food was lovely and well worth the price, the environment was clean and well kept and the seating was comfy and well spread out so we felt very comfortable being there with no masks on. I ordered the Sirloin steak instead of the rump since the ribeye was not available. The meal was well presented, but I believe the steak was actually rump as it was very tough. My wife had the Surf and Turf, and the sirloin was almost inedible. The waitress got the manager to give us a free coffee, but at £16.99 for the meat, it felt like a small gesture. Despite the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, I would recommend going to a steakhouse if you want a good steak experience.

the sirloin steak ordered in the opposite to the rump, as the ribeye was not available. the meal came, well presented, but I think the steak was rump, it was hard like old boots also with a steak knife. my wife had the surf and turf, and the sirloin was in the ground unthinkable, my dog had to fight. the waitress got the manager to give us a free coffee, but at £16.99 for the meat it was a token gesture. trip advisor gave him Rave reports for their food however. once again, if they want a good steak, they go into a steakhouse

So is there anywhere for the kids to play? No, just the carpark. What if they try to walk around the pub? The grumpy duty manager doesn't like it. In fact he doesn't seem happy about anything and is abrupt and mumbles a lot from the moment we walk in (this was Sunday May, Harvester, if you would care to check who it was). The service was slow but we got what we ordered and it tasted fine and didn't cost any more than expected. The drinks refill and salad bar are good. I asked a waitress for some more cutlery and she was very helpful (I sure wasn't going to ask that grumpy duty manager). So it's ok but poor for kids and the attitude of at least one staff member is definitely sub-standard. Voir le carte
