"I'm writing this review right after picking up fish and chips for takeout because I was so shocked by the quality that I felt the need to share my experience. This has to be the worst fish and chips we've ever had—or perhaps I should say, the fish and chips we didn't have, since they were that terrible! The fish was soaked in grease and had such a thick layer of batter that the tiny amount of fish inside was tough and dried out. Being by the seaside, this is simply unacceptable; fresh, delicious fish should be the norm! It's almost a crime to take a fish from the ocean and serve it like this. I attempted to peel off the excessive batter to enjoy the fish itself, but it was pointless— it was so overcooked that it was ruined. The chips were also greasy and unappetizing. My photos show what ended up in the trash. It was a total waste of money! £14.40 for two portions of inedible fish and chips. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere—avoid this place at all costs!"

excellent service. We had takeaway fish and chips which was cooked as we watched. staff very friendly and attentive.

Just had a really nice gluten free fish and chips (freshly battered to order). Nice atmosphere and almost entire menu available gluten free which is a big plus.

we have been to harbour takeaway many times but really not impressed with their chips the last 2 years, soggy and greasy, it is hard to find really good chips and fish Voir le carte

This place is great. Fine selection of seafood dishes all cooked perfectly with gorgeous non greasy cups. Also one of the few places locally with beer in tap. Not expensive and with sea views this is a perfect munching pace.

This place will always have custom but on two trips to St Ives I have never experienced a friendly welcome here. Maybe I got them on bad days both times but if you can't be enthusiastic and friendly with your customers then why bother?

The fish was of extremely low quality, and the chips were stale and unappetizing. I've had better meals at motorway service stations! The fish was certainly not fresh, which is surprising for a café by the seaside. On the bright side, the local seagulls got a meal out of it! (I hope they felt okay afterwards.) Voir le carte

I had higher expectations for the food, especially since it's located by the seaside and always seemed busy whenever we walked by. However, we've had much better fish and chips back in our hometown. The fish was decent, but the chips were disappointing—poor quality, lacking flavor, dry, and served in a small portion.

The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The decor is beautiful, and the music was great as well! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the vegetarian options, especially considering it's primarily a fish restaurant. I tried the fried halloumi, which was delicious, and the avocado and halloumi salad, which was outstanding!
