"Our waiter was extremely disrespectful. We were seated by a lady and asked to move as the people behind us had their bags on our seats, this was no issue. A guy took our order, dark hair, approximately 5ft 8, although I believe you'd be able to identify him easier by his attitude. He rushed us to take our order, trying to guess what we were going to say. As a result of this we were given a lemonade instead of a ginger beer, this issue was resolved by a bar staff. As soon as I took my last bite, literally still chewing, he removed my plate without asking or signalling. He then asked us to pay. My friend informed him that we were going to order dessert, he told us to order now and pay for it as he had to leave. Apparently he can't be at work past his time. I told him that we were unhappy with the treatment and he said ' this is how it works here'. My friend took out €20 and I did the same. He took the money from her and complained about it not being enough and that the bill is €29. I brought it to his attention that we were paying separately. We paid and he rushed off. He then went behind the bar and spoke about us to every colleague that would listen, the other member of staff starting looking at us. Another member of staff brought out my dessert. When we were leaving the restaurant, 30 minutes after paying, the same rude member of staff that rushed us to pay before we had finished or even recieved all of our meal was showing customer's to their tables, taking orders and lighting candles. I don't know why we were treated like this, he evidently was not leaving and even if he was, it is still not acceptable. This experience ruined which would have otherwise been a nice meal. I'm really disappointed. If you want good customer service, do not eat here."

This restaurant has a beautiful interior design. It is really cosy. Perfect for date or group meal. It is really popullar so there is a possibility of waiting for a table. Voir le carte

Ate lunch here while in Munich. Burgers, fries and drinks were very good. Very interesting decor. Close to town center and Ishatar Gate. Outside seating available in warmer weather.

Aperol spritz without aperol and unfair waiter who accepted offer for dinner special offer of burger+sidedish+cocktail (which counts as burger price + 8 eur) but after all counted everything with separate price summing up to 4 more euros than should be. Was no mood to argue, just will never come back again.Be careful and recount the bill that waiter will bring to you.

Ate here with a work colleague, on a Saturday evening. Had to queue to get in.Staff we generally not too bothered, more chatting with each other than dealing with customers.Service was quick once we got to order. Burger wasn't bad and sweet potato fries not bad either. Quite good at getting drinks, though we were next to the bar.All in all a nice meal, no too bad a price and quite a nice setting in the "forest"!, though nothing special. Voir le carte

My 'local' friend actually took me here today for lunch. It was my first time. First impression: great interior and atmosphere. The place was packed and busy and people has to queue for their turn. The attendant was friendly. Our first order, came quite promptly. But after this - 2nd order and bill took more time than when the restaurant was busier. Food: authentic, fresh and tasty! One of the best burgers I've ever had in a while. Will definitely go back to try their other dishes. Side tip: They have this "Orangen sauce" that is a must try! Perfect dip for almost everything! You can forget the rest of the sauce lol.

We had eaten in a Hans Im Gluck in Berlin more than once and had a great experience. We did not realise that they are quite a large chain and have several restaurants in Munich. We may have decided to eat elsewhere. The whole experience was nothing like the ones in Berlin. Nothing bad - nothing better than average, apart from a friendly new waitress. Our burgers were OK, my wife had sweet potato fries served cold ! (they were replaced). Cocktails were weak and served with too much ice. On reflection, will easily forget the visit here, but probably would not go to a Hans Im Gluck again when there are so many restaurants serving burgers to choose from.
