"with our group we came to the restaurant about 13 o'clock, which was occupied until the last place. we had no reservations and saw ourselves already on the way out, because it was time for the food edition and all the way out between the tables. but far missed. they led us into a next room with a view to the steingasse, sneaked a few tables together and asked if we could like it. That's how nice it went on. I wanted a crust roast that was not on the map. without hectic and with all attention, I was compiled a suitable court so that everything was ultimately on the teller, what I had appetit. no problem so, just to deviate from the menu card and also no extra fee, as in other houses, where different desires are punished with 1 € or 2. the chefin of the house even took the time to make a group photo of us. the food was very good, the drinks also and the service unrestrictedly nice and hospitable. and my crusty roast had actually a crust, not such a stubborn thing, as it often happens when eating is more likely from the microwave."

on a warm Sunday on the terrace we have eaten a delicious goulash and also enjoyed the 'people watching' in the heidelberg old town.

we longed for desserts and learned from tripadvisor from this place. apfelstrudel was totally delicious. my man had mixed ice (zitrone, strawberry and chocolate) and to my surprise it was very delicious, better than normal ice cream. very good service and pleasant atmosphere

what a terrible restaurant, the menu was unorderly, there was no clear structure. little to no sweet at the meal times and all meal times are rich in fat. for the fish lover there are only 1 selection; garnel that also swim in fat, from gluten-free they have never heard, but never again....

we have booked - a good idea to do this. eating was traditional and quite good. service excellent from the dennis. seating outdoors on a very busy pedestrian zone. some smoker of course, but that doesn't bother. it's fun watching all those people. the inner also looks very beautiful. we would go back.

after the old bridge and a beautiful entrance to the old town we decided to eat in this restaurant too lunch, we had another place on the terrace. the dishes are typical of the region that eat is good, the prices are good and the service pleasant. the wine from the region is very good. we had a great time there!

the hackteufel serves traditional German cuisine. I had an excellent flaky cake and my partner had a generous black carving. the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the service was excellent. although we were in a busy road, we did not have to book and were immediately led to a table. there are tables outside, although we have eaten indoors, where a musical instrument hangs over each table. the prices are average for heidelberg and I would say that they get a good value for money for their money. I'd definitely eat back there.
