Gutzeit Cafe & Steakbar im Burghof

I had with my friend there the famous flame cake: 1 with tomaten and rucola and 1 with apples, cherry and cinnamon. beautiful selection of beer and a very beautiful beer garden near the Rhine. As mentioned in another review, the toilet has a war scene and a statue.

we ate on the Rhineland too. so not in the big restaurant. it was a small place. well decorated inside and outside. toilets are scary with huge statues looking down on them, and almost without light. they get a lot of food for the money they pay. the service is very good. waiter speak English. in any case a good restaurant for a drink or a lunch at a walk through imperial.

This is one of my favorite places in the world! I dream about their flammkuchen which are like crepes/pancakes served flat with either savory or sweet toppings. We love to sit in the funky beergarden that looks over the river. It's a great casual place...that kids love and is just next to the ruins. To get there, you can also walk along the bike path and then go up the steps to the beer garden.

The place is very welcoming although somewhat wackily decorated and with a small menu of standard German food. We were in a party of ten...and swiftly seated and served drinks. this restaurant is located on the Rhine in the picturesque imiserwerth. the garden outside is full with beautiful weather. I usually only drank beer outside, but this time we ate for the windy conditions with my wife in the evening. the food was excellent (flame cake and put strips with potatoes). the service was smiley, though not very attentive. what makes this restaurant really special is the unique environment. started by the rolls royce in the garden, which was converted into a chicken house, and a really interesting interieur with armorings, centuries-old snow sleds, wood carvings ... even the toilets have on the deck life-size scenes with ritters, caught, tortures etc a stroll through...

it's amazing to see how full it is here with beautiful weather. it is really difficult to find a place, but sometimes it is worth it. to get the drinks, they have no problem at all, as they can hold them up directly at the bar, otherwise a waiter comes to their table. the big problem at this place is to get the food. when they sit outside, no one takes their order and does not bring what they have ordered. they need to go straight to the kitchen to order it, and since this is almost always full locally, they need to wait at least 10 minutes before they can deliver their order (if they imagine that they need to perform the same process to get a pulpit, I can imagine that most will do without...
