"This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've found in Berlin so far (though admittedly that's not saying much), and certainly the best value. For anyone who is looking for a respite from the cream-filled blandness that is served at 99% of the Indian places here, give this place a try. Complex flavors, a couple of interesting menu items, and they will actually make it spicy for you if you ask. Out of 5 times here only one was a disappointment, despite ordering menu items we had tried and liked before, so consistency may be a bit of a problem. The atmosphere of the restaurant is okay, candlelit but very bare bones. Service ranges from very friendly to weirdly befuddled."

It's a nice place to eat with a cool looking interior. The food is ok, and also cheap, atleast during the day. It's a bit more expensive in the evening. There personel is not that friendly.

The dishes are tasty and the portions are quite large (we shared and still had too much food) the staff is friendly. This Indian restaurant is quite authentic compared to other Indian restaurants in Berlin...

Nous sommes allés dans ce resto par hasard. Serveur très gentil, prix très bas, ambiance agréable . Je conseille les plateaux très copieux et très bons. Ils permettent de goûter à plusieurs saveurs sans se ruiner.

Dette er helt klart et af mine favoritsteder i Berlin. Hvis man er til indisk mad, så er dette sted et værd at besøge. Da jeg besøgte Guru delte vi en masse retter (5 personer). Maden er dejlig autentisk og billigt ;-)

Excellent, authentic Indian food at a very reasonable price in Kreutzberg. Between 12 PM and 3 PM the prices are even lower! 5 euros for a main course! Call and make a reservation. We got there early today (monday) and pretty soon after our arrival the place was packed.

Ich war zum Business Lunch im Guru. Essen - Huhn mit Gemüse - war OK. Im Vergleich zu anderen Indern gibt es hier zum Lunch keine Vorspeise, keine Dips mit Papadam o.ä..Preislich ist es mit 5-7€ pro Gericht beim Lunch günstig. Die Bedienung wirkte etwas gelangweilt, ein Lächeln würde da schon helfen. Fazit: kann man durchaus hingehen, ich würde aber keine weiten Umwege für ein Essen hier machen.
