"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."

"I celebrated my birthday yesterday with my family and it was incredible! super tasty eating, great workers, superlocal. we are back in every case! the employees have even prepared a small surprise for the final! we felt very comfortable here. they can see how much the customers are appreciated here! everything is done so that you can go home happy again. "Wir waren zu zweit da und waren in Summe sehr zufrieden. Als Vorspeise hatte ich eine Suppe mit Nudeln und Hühnerfleisch, die geschmacklich sehr gut und reichlich war. Als Hauptgericht dann 2 x Kalbfleisch, die 42 und die 23 (Spezialität des Lokals) beides auch geschmacklich sehr gut und große Portionen. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, der Service ok und Preis Leistung für die Lage in Schwabing auch gut. Da muss man mal afghanisch gegessen haben, das ist sehr gut."

"Essen überwiegend sehr lecker, aber es gab sonntags um 7 schon recht vieles nicht mehr. Service sehr freundlich. Atmosphäre eher wie eine Bar, auch mit recht lauter Musik und insgesamt sehr entspannt. Als Entschädigung für die fehlenden Gerichte haben wir einen großen Nachtisch kostenlos bekommen. Dieser war auch richtig gut. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und den Rest testen."

"Wir waren hier zum ersten Mal aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal! Ein unglaublich gemütliches Ambiente mit lockerer Atmosphäre trifft auf einen humorvoll charmanten aber professionellen Service. Alles was aus der Küche den Weg in unseren Gaumen fand war ein einziger Traum. Raffiniert mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail hat uns dieses Team einfach verzaubert. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder."
