"Some people just don't know what they are talking about. This place isn't fine dining, but it is of higher quality than most restaurants of this style. Over the last 10 years, a dozen or so Mongolian grill all you can eats have opened up around Munich (there are 2 others within 3 4 miles of this one). The average of this style for the Munich market would be about 2 stars. Gourmet Temple is definitely double that which includes quality, cleanliness and service. When this place opened (about 5 years ago), what first set it apart from all the others was that the drinks were included in the price. Germans don't give anything away for free, so all you could drink included was a very very nice customer service addition aspect. One that is sorely lacking in Munich. About 2 years ago, they had to limit the number of beers to about 2 liters worth because the locals were abusing the kindness (but then again even the McDonald's down the street stopped having free refills because of the locals abusing the system). Buffet: tasty and a nice variety of beef, pork, chicken and veg dishes. They also have a salad bar, sushi, soups and a dessert bar. There is also fruits, ice cream and a chocolate fountain. Grill: a nice selection of seafood, domestic and wild meats. Put the clothesline clip with your table number on your plate and select what you want to be grilled (griddle actually). When ready it will be delivered to your table. TIP 1: the place is great for birthday parties with picky eaters (young or old), and with the drinks included makes it very reasonable. Younger kids get a special price. My son's B day party was €9.90 per kid (I negotiated with them), which was cheaper than ordering pizzas like I did the year before. TIP 2: there is now a bus connection from Kieferngarten for those without cars. TIP 3: when it comes to Mongolian grill, have an actual plan for combining flavors and textures. Piling a little or a lot of everything onto the plate will end up not tasting good."

Munich, ville bavaroise animée, célèbre pour l'Oktoberfest, sert des plats traditionnels comme des bretzels, des saucisses Weisswurst et de généreux jarrets de porc avec de la bière.
