Such great service!! The meal was quite good. Slightly overpriced for what it was. Coffee was good though!

In una soleggiata domenica cercavamo un posto in cui fare brunch all'aria aperta. Location molto bellina con panorama su una bella chiesa. Posizione ad angolo ben esposta al sole. Brunch molto buono ed economico. Assolutamente consigliato!

the gottlob is my second home. whether a quick breakfast, an extensive brunch, a quick snack or a tasty eating, whether coffee, beer or cocktail, I feel good there, as it is admitted in summer or at warm days to be much more beautiful because they can enjoy the sun outside (in the beautiful akazienstraße) and observe the people. the prices are also completely in order.

The food is moderate,the service friendly.But the toilets are not clean! In addition, a few chair cushions would have to be in the mood, because chairs are very hard.This is not an expensive acquisition.This has often been challenged by many guests I know.I hope that you as a boss or even the management will implement this excitement.A theft is ruled out there because it is not directly on the road,of course many would be welcomed by hedges or by framing. Gern esse ich seit Jahren immer wieder den Cury-Linsen-Eintopf. Heute kam dieses Gericht als trockenes Mus - wie eingetrockneter Kartoffelbrei - auf den Tisch. Der anschliessend bestellte Johannisbeerkuchen war winzig, eiskalt und der Streuselbelag total pappig. Es ist zwar ein schöner Ort, und wenn man Glück hat, haben auch die manchmal etwas arroganten Bedienungskräfte mal ein Auge auf und kommen zügig an den Tisch, aber was das Essen betrifft, sollte es eindeutig mal wieder besser werden. Man hängt ja doch an seinem Stammlokal (seit seiner Eröffnug). Es wäre schade, wenn das der Anfang vom Ende wäre

I went here for a beer and something to eat with an old friend. The place was busy with lots of tables. It was easy to get table for two and service was quick and friendly. Beer was served in 0.3 and .04 Lt and there were three different draught pilsners (3.40€ for 0.4) and a very good draught Weissbier (0.5 Lt for 3.60 € ). There were a number of bottled beers on offer too. The menu didn't have a huge choice but offered something for most tastes and appetites. The gnocchi I had for 8€ were unmemorable. I travel to Berlin frequently and no visit is complete without paying a visit to Cafe Gottlob.The place is charming and everything is somehow right. The cafe is simple, food is good and cheap, staff are friendly, it's busy and yet it's always possible to nab a table somewhere.It's lovely in summer when the doors are wide open to the terrace, and cosy in winter. It's really hard to say what exactly makes this one of my favourite cafes in Berlin and yet it just is. It's location is great, love the independent shops and boutiques all around it.Sadly the resident ginger cafe cat is no more. He was a very special creature.
