Globe Canteen Coffee

My son took me here this morning for the first time and I was very impressed.Everything was cooked to perfection..lots of it and very hot...will be back next time im over for a visit..

This was our first time trying the globes and we ordered the full English breakfast. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. The café had a pleasant atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely visit again.

This cafe/restaurant is run by a family and they pay close attention to detail. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. I come here every week because I love the atmosphere. Voir le carte

We have visited this cafe a few times for Sunday breakfast, the food is amazing, served quickly and is always hot. We have had 1 lunchtime meal which also was really good. Would recommend this place to anyone who likes good quality home cooked, reasonably priced food.

Had a nice breakfast in the cafe but thought the prices were missleading as the take away prices were displayed at the counter where you order your food and they give you your table number but if you stop in you have vat added to your bill,this takes the edge of it a bit

Very very nice breakfast and a great choice of food. All food has been fresh each time I have been, and as for the staff, there are some amazing, polite, friendly people working here. Pick this place out for a spot of breakfast after looking at previous reviews. Plenty of street parking outside, place looked busy which is always a good sign. Canteen feel to it but clean. Great choice of breakfasts on offer. Opted for full english and wasn't disappointed. Served quickly, great tasting coffee to boot. A little pricey but you get value for money.

After reading the reviews decided to try the globe for breakfast, we went on a Saturday morning and it was very busy . You go in and find a table , go and order your food at the bar , I had a bacon and mushroom sandwich and a portion of hash browns and my partner had the northern breakfast which had everything on including a Cumberland sausage ring , he said it was the best breakfast he had had . The food was hot and served quickly. They serve proper cappuccino and a lovely tea. Will definitely be returning for a Saturday morning breakfast.

I arrived at the restaurant and found the car park was full, so I had to park across the road and walk over. There were four people smoking at the entrance, so I had to walk through the smoke. Once inside, the restaurant looked nice and spacious. I placed my order, but halfway through the lady at the till took a phone call. When I sat down, the table was not clean. I waited 8 minutes and 25 seconds for my food, which was reasonable. The server was friendly. The food was delicious, but at £13.50, I thought it was a bit pricey. Overall, it was a good experience, but I probably won't return due to the high prices. Voir le carte
