Giraffe Sheffield Meadow Hall

The fact that I made the effort to go and to get there and it be closed was extremely disappointing. Especially to the child and pensioner I was with.

The restaurant has a great selection on the menu and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The service is excellent and the food is reasonably priced.

Unfortunately after having booked a table at Giraffe for the 14th August, we turned up at the booked time to find the restaurant closed! Very disappointing!! Voir le carte

the hotel is located in the Maidow Hall. excellent ambiente. without doubt the quality of food they offer. I ordered quinoa salat no bone plate that was enough to fill our favorites recommended!

Even though I booked a table online the place wasn't even open on arrival with no sign it had been previously despite showing as open on its website the previous week, very disappointing. The booking systems needs to be available only when the restaurant is actually open.

Now, where should I begin? I booked a table for my son's 11th birthday and mentioned it when making the reservation, but they didn't even acknowledge his birthday. When we ordered drinks, they brought one that we didn't order and had no straws. They were also out of some items on the menu and didn't check on our food. I won't be returning here again. Well, disappointed isn’t the word.. we got to oasis at meadow hall to find giraffe closed. We had specifically booked as we were meeting friends always loved it I don’t know why they let us book a table when they have been clearly closed for ages. It was difficult then to get a table elsewhere as at the moment people do tend to book a table to ensure food!!! Don’t book Giraffe at Meadowhall

The dining experience was pleasant, but I would have liked to see more options for smaller plates. The tapas style was great for a lighter lunch. The service was a bit slow, with one male waiter working and a female waiter chatting at the bar for about 15 minutes. Some meals arrived late, with part of our order missing for a full 15 minutes. We had requested olives with our drinks, but they only arrived with the food about 30 minutes later.

When I arrived I was greeted by a member of the staff telling me that they weren’t taken any more booking without even asking if I had booked a table, we were then giving 2 separate booth’s even though our party was six and four of those were children which wasn’t great but acceptable as we were next to each other. When the food came which we had burnt burger buns for two orders and tomatoes on a pizzas which we asked for NO tomatoes, the fish was over cooked and greasy all in all not a great experience Voir le carte
