"I can really not understand the positive reviews. I ordered a primo and secondo with gamba. After a while it became clear that they did not have gamba. A bit strange in high season, but fine... I ordered something else. The risotto with saffran was so much, that i could literally feed 6 adults easily. No joke! To me the amount is just not inviting and not italian. The taste of the risotto was fine, i just left 90 percent of the dish, since i ordered a secondo. Now, what they served me after, was just ridiculous. I have no clue what to call this dish and would be ashamed if i were the chef that made it. It was a big pile of iceberg salad with corn. On top of it were some slices of crab ??? probably...not even sure). Next to it laid 4 pieces of cold deepfried fish, that looked like in Dutch fashion) potato croquette I had one bite: DISGUSTING) that laid, two by two, in huge pools of cheap cocktail sauce. I ate the lettuce, just to make sure i ate something. This was the WORST food i ever had in Italy and possibly worst food ever. So glad it is over!! I will NEVER go back there and will tell people who enjoy food and dining to stay far away from here"

"refined and elegant place in front of the ancient city of paestum, a perfect combination of history and cuisine. The menu is wide as well as the wine card, perhaps too much! definitely not miss the choice... we started with a cutter of meats that in honor of the truth was mediocre, perhaps sliced for too long. polenta with porcini instead exceptional. on the same standards the American t bone, promoted to full votes. sweets a little too “sweet”, it is difficult to finish the whole portion. the overall evaluation therefore is the result of several considerations, taking into account on the one hand the kindness and availability of the staff, the very nice room with a pleasant background music, the company to the height of the expectations, but on the other side you can not leave the mediocre salami and the account frankly a little too high. It remains the fact that the stars on us are all."

"This restaurant was found by a high score evaluations. So, as from our experience, that was over expected. The taste of food 3,5 out of 5. The cherry on the cake Was, when the change from our payment more than 120 Euro was given by mistake to other people.... And they took it... Only, at the last moment the other waitress found out the mistake and brought money to correct table ."

"Relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, soft and pleasant background music, original dishes, carefully prepared and tasty. Handmade strascinati, beet velvety pecorino, walnuts and rocket. Very tasty! The tasting of the seven appetizers reveals the seven pouds of this cuisine. Small bowl of couscous. Portion of white eggplant parmigiana. Green chilli with buffalo ricotta. Zucchini pie with cream and zucchini chips. Zucchini flower gratin bundle. Last but not least. Roasted pepper stuffed with buffalo yoghurt. Green beans on a bed of creamed potatoes."

"We arrived at noon hungry before visiting the Greek temples and had a fantastic lunch. There isn’t an English menu and the waitress didn’t speak much English so we showed her pictures from previous posts from TripAdvisor and it worked out great! We ordered several delicious pasta dishes but the “vulcano” pasta was out of this world delicious! There was a huge hunk of fresh mozzarella in the center of the pizza which looked liked a volcano and it was the best fresh mozzarella ever! The owner was kind and friendly and went out of his way to talk with us which was quite nice. I highly recommend stopping here before or after visiting the Greek temples in Paestum."
