Gaucho Tower Bridge

Regular favourite with impeccable service and some of the best prepared beef I've eaten. The wine list has lots of great offerings and the recommendations we've had by the staff have always impressed. Reservations are a must otherwise you'll never get a table by just walking in.

Gaucho isn't the best steakhouse in town, but this branch has one of the better location and views for a decent date or client meeting. My personal choice of cut is the fillet, but they cook their rump pretty well too. The pao de quiejo is so moreish and addictive, make sure you control yourself from gobbling these up before you have your mains!

This is a lovely place to enjoy a drink. The cocktails are very good, but do keep an eye on the prices. The decor is delightful, and you can choose to sit outside on a beautiful sofa or indoors with music and candlelight. After enjoying your drinks, you can have dinner featuring excellent meat, but do remember to order a side dish, as it increases the price. We visited for my husband's birthday. We cannot fault our experience at all. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were too. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel special. Our server was knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. The scallops were cooked perfectly as was the steak, lobster and the cheesecake . When Giovani knew it was my husband's birthday he brought over a small dessert complete with birthday message and candle. What a nice touch. Its a fabulous place. Would recommend it and we will definitely be back.

We initially decided to skip a starter, as we really wanted to savor our steaks. While we waited, we were served broth and dips, which were a nice touch. I ordered the spiral cut steak, while my partner opted for the larger sirloin. Both steaks were fantastic—my filet was truly melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We paired our meal with a lovely bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. For dessert, I wanted something sweet, so I went for a selection of sorbets that were absolutely delightful. To top it off, I was surprised with a birthday espresso martini! While it's not the cheapest dining option, it certainly isn't the most expensive either. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

First a big thank you to Lucie who provided perfect service. Unfortunately I had a tooth infection and really had no place in a steak restaurant especially one that would hurt the pocket a Lil but nothing was gonna stop me. So 2 ibuprofen later I was celebrating my 5 year anniversary with an amazing variety of breads to start. The butter was amazing and along with the chilli oil I was in heaven with such a delicious choice of warm breads. We was shown the steaks and given a Lil info on what's best. The restaurant is smart and playfully decorated in the hides of the animals which feature on the menu. The low light and view over the river to the Tower and Tower Bridge lend the restaurant an indulgent atmosphere. We chose Gaucho Tower Bridge to celebrate my wife 40th birthday – a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Our reservation was for 17 July 2025 at 20:00 (Confirmation : 2110381385) and we were joined by our young son to mark the occasion as a family. At the time of booking, I wrote a polite note asking if the restaurant could help make the evening special – something small, like a birthday dessert or a candle. We weren’t expecting anything extravagant – just a little warmth, some recognition of the occasion, a kind word from the staff. But absolutely nothing happened.
