"General Conclusion: Top at “derber Vesper”, first class open wines; serious alternative to farms. With its beautiful beer garden photos, the rose is an ideal stop for a full-day cycling tour from Weinheim through the Gorxheim valley at Eichelberger Hof to the right and La Fattoria to the left past Oberflockenbach with the “Rose” via Ritschweier back to Weinheim. In doing so, I presume strong calves. In bad weather you should drive by car. This has the advantage that you can look further, for example, in the soup bowl in stone blades, Jöste Andres in Rittenweier, when the rose is full. The two alternatives mentioned are recommended in contrast to the Rose 100% rural guesthouses but without gourmet claim. Operation male, flott, competent, outgoing, attentive caution, hot plates Food The menu contains, among other things, a few fish dishes for this, but under the heading “Deftige Vespergerichte” a lot of local specialities. The menu lists wines from the Palatinate, Rheinhessen, Baden and Franken. We have ordered for a Schriesheimer Grauburgunder 2013 Weingut Bietig, Schriesheim to € 3,60 and a Weißburgunder 2012 of the Rheinhessian wine star Peter Keller € 5,60. The Grauburgunder is described by Bietig as “These grapes originate from small-berry Grauburgunder varieties from the Gewann Holderbusch in Schriesheimer Kuhberg. A lousy solution determines the floor here. A very creamy wine, with fine aromas ripe apples and quinces.” I couldn't understand the creaminess. But he was more characteristic with more acidity than the Pinot Blanc. At a liter price of € 7.00, the Schoppenpreis of € 3,60 was still i.O. Peter Keller’s “Winzer of the Decade” white burgundy reads on a wine merchant’s website as “classical mineral and dry, rugged, hearty fresh white burgundy, great finesse, fine structure, lively and munter”. As so often I found this characterization euphorically exaggerated; probably formulated by some paywrite. Perhaps one could have followed this characterization in a blind tasting with Weißburgunderalternatives. In any case, the Schoppenpreis was slightly calculated by the Rose at € 5,60, as the liter price of the 2013 wine cellar is given at € 19,99. This clears the strategy of the Rose: “We want more, we become a noble land restaurant”. That's good, bad enough. My guess was confirmed when I discovered another amarone on the map! We used to drive to Verona and the surrounding area to the winemakers. I have the male service Juniorwirt? to be praised. We assured each other that the Amaronerausch is already special. I suspect that the fermentation as a dry beer harvesting on straw mat bearings creates special substances which lead to these special noise states. For these reasons we left the Amarone in the bottle and ordered our Vesper: Odenwälder Handkäs mit Musi € 4.60 as well as homemade liver dumplings € 5,60 with sauerkraut and bread. We didn't expect anything special. But then the operation came with the call “Preview, the plate is hot!” For this attention also supreme praise! These were my 3 liver dumplings. Visually an eyewitness photo. Tasteful a revelation: one tasted the finely ground liver pieces; onion, parsley, pepper, marjoram, anything else? To the outside, the dumplings were slightly pink. Was it worked with a pickling salt to achieve a longer shelf life and to avoid excessive greying? In a direct comparison, the rose's liver dumplings would smoothly pierce the view of Friedelsheim's hair from the well-known butchery Hambel in Wachenheim. The hand cheese was also the first class. Inside soft, not too salty, lots of music, inlaid onions with mild taste. 5 stars for food, for drinks anyway. We'll be back, but not in two years. The rose is coming. I should keep that for myself. But she's stinging out something like that. The ambience We were here just two years ago. It was time to look at the right. In even sunny weather we are in the beer garden with a view of the opposite mountain slopes with idyllic horses hanging. We could also watch a farmer at the wood shop about 1 km away. So from a distance, landwork is fun; cleanliness From the outside everything worked well. However, one has to be criticized. The walk to the toilet leads to the basement. The master toilet was also well maintained. Odoric, however: a bestial Uringeruch : There is no such thing. So, please..."

I can't say positive here. Bad service for total overload. Nothing organized. I waited for the drink for 45 minutes, I left food back when my lapping steak went through with tendons and was therefore not January. No joy Voir le carte

The Rose is a very popular restaurant in the Odenwald and outside Weinheims. A visit can be particularly well connected with a hike on the numerous nearby hiking trails. The rose offers both outer and inner seats, although not in full. Since it is very popular, you should book in time as it is almost always full. The food is versatile, but somewhat overpriced, the services are often excited and unfriendly and especially on holidays, Sundays or in high season it goes very hectic and you have to wait quite long for your food. Nevertheless, with enough patience, it can be a beautiful destination and is also ideal for celebrations .
