"Located in the idyllic small Weinheimer district Steinklingen. After a curly ride through the Gorxheimertal and Oberflockenbach, we reached the quite remote Gasthof Zur Suppenschale. We had already had a lot of good stuff so we went on the way to see if our acquaintances should keep right. You said here you could still have reasonable prices, eat big portions delicious and drink, like Anno can't be told twice, so we went on a fall night. The current inn was once built in 1721 as a reformed school. Today you can enjoy carvings, onion roasts, rag steaks ...... seasonal specialties taste puffs, pumpkin dishes, pumpkin dishes....... or regional dishes eat pancakes. Some desserts are mainly ice-sweet. We were very kindly greeted and accompanied to our reserved table. The tables were covered according to the season autumn, with some small ornamental aprons, lampion flower flowers, colour matching tablecloths, napkins and candles. These were also lit before we were given the menus and asked for our drinks. Otherwise, the place is rustic, almost something bodice. We had to taste: pork steak Delfter type pork steak baked with tomatoes, fresh mushrooms and abundant cheeses to it, crispy roast potatoes and a mixed, colorful salad very tasty and with 13.00 euros damn cheap as I find. The price performance ratio here is phenomenal, e.g. Schnitzel, Pommes and Salat 11,00 Euro ; grill plate with roast potatoes and salad 13,00 Euro you feel almost returned to the good old DM time and this with generous portions which also sown the strongest man. The place is run by mother and son, still almost everything is made and that is also tasted, on Convenience products are widely decorated. Here you are looking for unusual molecular techniques and textures Espuma, spories, nitrogen balls.... forgives, for this you will find authentic home cooking. In the large beautifully green outdoor area of the restaurant you will find a nice place for everyone in the warm season. On the day of action there are steam noodles with potato soup to eat as much as you want, with this dish comes sentimentality with me, this always made my grandma when we came to visit and it tasted sensationally good in the summer. Therefore, the next visit is already planned to try these steam noodles, because even though I have already baked them myself according to the original recipe of Grandma with beautiful thick, crispy salt crust on the ground I have not even got them as good as my grandma back then."

"After a warm day at the beach bath with friends, we spontaneously decided to return to the marketplace and let our beautiful day end together. As almost always, all gastro plants around the Mediterranean marketplace were very, very well visited. Here it's always hard to get a place spontaneously. But this time we should be lucky, just when we arrived a 4 table in the outdoor area was free. Simple tables and wooden chairs, however with thick, pretty seat cushions and therefore very comfortable. A large parasol donated us shadows and the Lampions were switched on at an advanced hour, which enchanted a magical atmosphere. The very small interior of the restaurant is also cosy and modern. The menu is not rugged, offering always 2 menus of it 1 vegetarian, with some classic carvings, onion rust roasts...... and, depending on the season, changing various daily dishes borillas, beef pork asian, asparagus in the dough shell, chestnut soup, spinach mushroom whirlpool....... Even if we had a lot of irritated onions, then we decided to: calfsrückensteak with Macadamia thyme crust with potato parmesanstampf, mangold and cognac sauce very, very tasty. Viennese schnitzel with lukewarm potato salad, radishes, cucumbers and cranberry meat cuts very thin on demand with accompaniment tastefully but good. When dessert gönnted 2 of us still a dessert not for nothing you say that best comes to the end, here should be remembered this time again. Passion fruit cream brulee with coconut ice cream, grilled mango and limes an exotic dream, better doesn't go! Chocolate tart with raspberry sorbet, pistachios and freshly decorated berries were very well served on. A small Fauxpas is unfortunately not a fixed contact person to the staff, but changing 3/4 different people then happens. The Amuse Bouche was forgotten, on demand for which the small plates and knives are, that was then served as the main dish. But overall very friendly and accommodating, despite the great visitor storm. Beautiful coherent overall concept."

"in the rule, brewery restaurants have a good call similar to the metzgereigaststätten. at the sea, they can look forward to good meat, while brewing on a fresh, excellent beer with the in-house note of a small brewery. the Woinemer brewery with its gasthof is special in the region. so many people know, so it is always so full in the restaurant. the restaurant is separated, the tables are arranged around a wood stove, the beer lovers come separately into the room with many beers (the bayers would say, beer sponge) there is the knock system and through a large window is the polished copper kettle. that is the woinemer courthouse . it is the different types of beer that attract people. what is currently in the ausschank is always written with chalk on a large board. there are bright, white, dark, black beer, sometimes bock, any filtered or natural, sometimes even ginnes after the original recipe. so comes a very attractive number of species together and they are forced to decide quickly, otherwise the friendly service is gone again. similar business is also in the kitchen. a seasonal menu and offered in parallel special current weekly, e.g. French week (France is not far), of course wildweeks. my speciality is the icy bone with red crimped and nebulous. the self-fried beer then also appears in the sauces, as the kitchen really experiment and it tastes. it tastes different than next door, that is the note of this local. also the discreet prices. that's why I usually visit there when I'm in the opposite. in the summer the beer garden attracts the people like the beer the puppies! that is quite large, not as large as in bayern, but considered. the services then drive special layers and are always polite and friendly despite the heavy work. that makes the atmosphere in this beautiful brewhouse. they never sit alone! unfortunately there are always too little parking. for the locals who meet regularly in the evening and like to talk to the stranger, the companies with their visitors also come to the end of a working day. conclusion: who has never been here has missed something!"
