The staff was very friendly and courteous, even the food was really delicious. The waiting times were, however, much too long. So we waited for dinner for about an hour and then for dessert again 50 minutes.

Had the schnitzel with chips, which 2 people could share. Also had the flammkuchen which was huge! Food came quickly, was tasty and well priced. German menus and waitress but very helpful and friendly. 4 sodas, 3 meals with total of €40.

This is a very authentic Bavarian restaurant in the Regensburg suburbs in a village called Burg Weinting. Most of the items on the menu are delicious, especially the smoked trout and, of course, the schnitzel, but they serve many other Bavarian specialties. Voir le carte

We had supper here on our trip through Germany. It is a small Gasthof in a country village but surprisingly good authentic food. As well, the prices were very reasonable for Germany and one of the staff [a young lady] spoke excellent english and the...restaurant had an english menu. It is out of the way for Regensburg visitors km south] but would be a good place to stop for a meal on the way.

...wurden wir dorthin eingeladen.Ich war sehr positiv überrascht. Die Speisen waren von hoher Qualität und wurden heiß serviert.Die Bedienungen waren freundlich und man mußte nicht lange auf das Essen warten.Ich hatte das New York Steak,es war auf den Punkt Medium. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und vielfältig.Es gibt dort sogar ein Tigerhaigebiß an der Wand.Ich bin Haifan...Nur so nebenbei. Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es,weil die Portionen bei den Hauptgerichten und Salaten unterschiedlich waren und auch die Eisbecher wurden immer kleiner und an Portion weniger.Sonst TOP. Mein Mann und ich waren auch nochmal da und da hat es dann gepasst.

The Gasthof has a charming interior the decor changes to fit the season and is always cosy and welcoming. Waitress service is prompt and friendly and all food is obviously prepared to order and arrives quickly. The menu has good vegetarian choices and...a translation of each dish in English. There is a good selections of excellent local beers and wines to complement you meal. We did not bring children but could see that children are welcome (and they were very well behaved because toys are left out to entertain them in one of the dining rooms.
