Gasthaus zur Linde - Menu

After passing the restaurant for years now we finally decided to try it. We had a nice dinner. Service was almost perfect. From my point of view a bit too pricy. Short menue with some special dishes.

for years, we've been passing the location. then, about 12 months ago, we returned one- because of a recommendation from friends. and actually, the kitchen and the service was a positive surprise: ivo and his team is always worth visiting. now we don't go by as often as we like to go.

........ still full score because the big whole is coherent. great, the clear map (and that is actually meant to be honest, because less is usually more) even more great the pre-ordering surprise menu and all this in a decent ambiente with attentive nice operation.a special praise maybe at this place for the cook that is not mainstream subdue.

this old gas farm is situated on the bundesstrasse 4 in rottorf. one expects a gas house kitchen. but what a surprise! the ambiente makes you curious. the map is manageable and makes curious about what you expect. unusual creations that are delicious. it was a man-of-a-kind, the service attentive and very personal. the curiosity was fulfilled. who passes by is himself guilty.

the reviews led us a couple of months ago (the first time) there and we twingelten (twinging? just look into the menu;-) surprise menu in 3 courses). and ? wownsinn! :-) :-) :-)- from that we have already seen more often the changing menu to prepare us for the rejoicing (before again) the creativity of the chef, the great service team and the ambiente are simply: "1 with *".A visit there is now not only absolute (gray) feeling, but has almost become compulsory, ;-)

if you drive from winsen at the surely beautiful luhe to lüneburg, you don't expect a highlight, no surprise. kulinar! the "gasthof zur linde" is probably also completely inconspicuous on the southern side of the road. we stop there and enter the hall - somehow oblique here! but then: a warm welcome and a very pleasant dining room. the card comes in heavy wood, quite differently the light, relaxed service. the courts are described poetically, awakening expectations. what is then served surprises: versatile, different, cooked on the spot, and all with a culinary augence. details to organize: no! just try. here there are star kitchen completely relaxed. wonderful!

last year we were randomly pushed to this hoard and were more than surprised. the service was very courteous and friendly, the card individually written and eating was simply the absolute hammer! Since then, we have been in the linde almost every month, as the card changes all 3 weeks. However, some classics can always be ordered, e.g. the roasted gambas or the linden carving. in the kitchen you also realize that there are people with pleasure and passion standing behind. we haven't been disappointed yet. at our last visit we had jakobsmuschelen with Tandoori cream, duck-ragout with semmelknödeln and lambfilet with pistou, bon and a very tasty sauce! the only thing I think is missing is a st...

on 28.5.16 we returned there to fifth on the occasion of a small family dinner. Although the email reservation had not really worked, we were still very warmly welcomed and got a nice table in the modern and cosy restaurant. also for my dear four-legged friend was well taken care of. there were frolic and fresh water.The menu is original and makes curious. we chose a 3 channels menu and were not disappointed. every gang a true pleasure for eyes and palate. we also felt the fantasies of descriptions in the menu extremely successful.In the dessert we decided mainly for the surprise of the house, which proved to be very good decision.The very good food and the warmth in this house have prepared...

on the return of pommern we have landed here on midday. it was immediately visible after leaving the autobahn. we can advise anyone to ignore the expensive and dirty raids along the autobahn and simply search for something in a city or village. they will often be surprised by positiw and can also recharge cheaply and take off free money.
