"This delightful little place was several blocks away from our hotel. Upon entering the restaurant we were taken to a simpler place and time. The interior looks like a café from 100 years ago and offers great old-fashioned friendly service. The menu contains a variety of entrees which are fairly priced and large portions. I had the Dalmation Pljeskavisca which was delicious ( ground beef patty filled with sheep cheese and served with rice, fries and a salad). The rice was flavored with tomatoes, olives and peppers). My husband had the Zagreb Schnitzel which was a schnitzel that had ham and cheese in it) and was served with fries and a salad. After a long trans-Atlantic flight, it hit the spot and was a great start to our trip. We will definitely visit Glashaus again when our travels bring us back to Berlin. To top it off, the service was fast and friendly. Tip- You might want to ask to be seated away from the door if you don't like smoking as it is permitted in the outdoor seating area."

Quite fast service. Rich choice of meals and beverages. The pork steak and grilled salmon were just perfect. But, i'd be happy, if the famous Berliner Pilsner would have been colder.

Croatian restaurant, with a wide choice of food. Nice ambience. More aimed at locals than tourists I would say. We both had the mixed fish platter. Nicely done and decent value at 15 Euros. Service good.

Ordered a fixed menu for two and got to try a variety of different meats. Very well-prepared and fresh. Great service. Definitely worth the price as it came up to about 20e per person incl beer. Would visit again next time we're in Berlin.

We wanted somewhere close to the hotel, and away from the tourist traps. This place hit the mark.Delicious Central European food and German standards. Huge portions (mostly a meat orgy) for 10-15€. Great service and cozy atmosphere. The kids loved it, and it was cheaper than lunch at the airport.Highly recommended. Voir le carte

Ate chicken pork and hot/cold ice cream. They gave 2 types of rice - yellow plain and tastier orangy type. Portion was big enough for me. Couldn't finish all the meat and rice. Water not free so had to order. Ice cream was interesting and tasty as it came with hot cherries and cold ice cream. Service was friendly for our tour group of 32.

We ate here two times on our week long stay. Food was excellent and the service was great. They speak English fairly well. My husband had a fish dinner, and I had the whole fish dinner the first night, and then I had pork schnitzel the last night in town. Both were delicious. They also have several vegetarian dishes, which suited my niece.

We were tired of walking all day, so I was looking for a place for dinner within ten minutes of our hotel. I couldn’t believe SO MANY positive reviews on this site but they were consistent- so we decided to try it. Both the food...and service were amazing. I had the Robbers Plate (sampler plate with a huge serving) and it was delicious. I also had the apple strudel with ice cream for dessert. I was skeptical of the pre-meal salad and even that was fantastic. We speak very little German and the waiter was very accommodating with an English menu, very friendly. Highly recommend Voir le carte

As has been mentioned the food was not too bad. However, I was served by who I assume was the older proprietor of the restaurant who clearly did not speak English. This was fine as I had an English menu and pointed with the food being tasty and the price not too bad. However the immense downfall was serving me my main course when I was only half way through my starter. He simply placed the dish on my table, said bon appetite and walked off! I had to make a judgement call and accept it as trying to explain I could tell would be difficult, given the language issue. Although I had a feeling he knew exactly that it was unacceptable.

I previously ate here in early 2016 and visited again this June with family. It is not your ultra-modern, state-of-the-art, trendy type of place, in fact many would consider it rather old-fashioned but this is part of its charm. The waiters are always very polite and give great service. You can get by easily enough in English with them and nothing is too much trouble.Prices are extremely reasonable and portions are excellent, as is typical of Croatian cuisine. The meat on my dish was varied and top quality, and cooked to perfection, I simply couldn't fault a thing, not that I was trying to!The Croatian wines are excellent too, I would recommend them. Will definitely return when I'm back in Berl...
