spectacular location, the food is seasonal so you have to go back several times to get all the delicacies made with local products. We ate very well, from the appetizer to the dessert. absolutely recommended!

the place is nice, eaten and drank very well, I would have given an evaluation more, but in the service to the table there were imperfections, say so.... come back to eat, found well, the nice holder, prepared. stars.

the family dinner has become an excellent opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking view and enjoy with all the senses dishes prepared with herbs and local products. everything has been introduced by the owner who, with his stories, has helped to stress beautiful sensations.

If you desire a great meal cooked with local herbs, vegetables and spices, this is the place. A medieval gem set in the woods with intricate wood carvings is the background. The proprietor Maurizio wil tell you everything you can imagine about the local surroundings and perhaps more than you care to know. The food is excellent and different and you won't be disappointed if you let Maurizio choose the dishes for you. Vegetarians are in heaven here, but you can also taste game and assorted meats.

North of Cividale, lost in the valleys on the way to the Slovenian border, this site (obviously renovated from ruins! was the residence/offices of the local gastaldo, the king’s steward. A small, cute and intimate restaurant with rooms if want to overnight in a quiet environment. Not far from here, at walking distance, there is a church inside the cave (Grotta San Giovanni d’Antro perfect to match visit-meal time, but check their opening times.
