"I love my local cafes and I like the fact that Gail's opens earlier than others on Sundays. However, I’ve been 3 times in the recent past and on no occasion were they able to serve me a plain croissant. They don't even suggest they've sold out, more that it’s a strange request. For a place that commendably bakes on site, there is no excuse for not having the most regular item imaginable to have with your coffee. To make things worse, on the most recent occasion my wife ordered me a ham and cheese croissant as a substitute; it was a warm unappealing mess that seemed to have the weight of a house brick. The coffees and teas are fine, but even then the drinks are plonked on the table, not served. Very disappointing."

Good coffee, but not good enough to compensate for the horrible attitude of the cashier/saleswoman. Pity.

We really like the pecan crumb cake of Gail’s, so whenever we pass by we buy one. But today the cashier behaved so awfulI I don’t think I will ever go there. Voir le carte

We came in for tea and cake, specifically a pot of breakfast tea and to share a generous piece of chocolate brownie covered in pecan nuts. This place is not cheap but the quality is excellent.

Good coffee and cakes and service but the toilet must be cleaned more often... the food suddenly tastes not so good when you see there’s no hand wash or no tissue left... just wander what the staff have touched...

I have been buying bread from Gail for a long time, but today I bought my favorite bread that was packed in plastic. Unfortunately, the bread no longer has its crispy crust because of the plastic packaging. I really hope they go back to using paper packaging. The bread has become soft and soggy because of the plastic. I am extremely disappointed with this experience. Voir le carte

The bread at the Chiswick branch is delicious, but I was disappointed to see that the cashier was not wearing a mask. It's essential for staff to maintain proper hygiene by washing hands and wearing a mask. I won't be returning until I can be assured of their commitment to hygiene and common sense. If the cashier is unable to wear a mask due to health reasons, she should not be working in a busy shop. Come on Gail's, I don't want to risk getting Covid along with my sourdough!

I will be reporting my complaint to the appropriate authorities, but I want to mention that I had a sausage roll from this restaurant that was freezing cold in the middle and had a neon pink color. Shortly after eating it, I became sick and vomited on Chiswick high road. I was too flustered and ashamed to go back inside to complain at the moment, but I felt the need to caution others about my experience. This is the first time I have ever written a food review, and I am not someone who complains regularly.

"A Culinary Journey Through India: Exquisite Flavors Await! Stepping into this Indian restaurant was like stepping into a culinary oasis. The air was redolent with the fragrant spices of India, promising an adventure for the taste buds. The ambiance, adorned with traditional Indian decor, transported me to the streets of Mumbai. Let's delve into the heart of the experience the food. The Tandoori chicken stole the show, perfectly marinated and cooked to juicy perfection. Each bite was a burst of smoky flavor that left me craving for more. And the Biryani? Simply divine. The fragrant rice, layered with tender meat and aromatic spices, was a symphony of flavors. However, a word of caution: the green chili served alongside packs a fiery punch, so tread carefully if you're not accustomed to the heat! But what truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service. The owner's son, who served as our waiter, was the epitome of friendliness. His warm demeanor and attentive service made us feel right at home, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to this Indian restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. With tantalizing dishes like the Tandoori chicken and flavorful Biryani, complemented by the friendly service, it's a culinary journey you won't want to miss. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or embarking on your first adventure, this restaurant is a must visit destination!"
