"we have discovered the restaurant füxl on a bumblebee, as we have also looked at the menus of the gas houses in the vicinity, we were addressed by a family who had left the restaurant shortly before: "if they really want to eat well, then they go to the Füxl...."Because the menu had already addressed us at the first viewing, we followed the recommendation. we chose the BUSINESS LUNCH (fishing dish) of week 13 as well as an appetizer salad and the saffronrisotto refined fried garnels from the normal menu.The foods were all very good and a pleasure for eye and eye. they may be looking forward to eating this, the pictures on the homepage of the restaurant provide a first impression. the dining room is lovingly decorated and prepared, there is still a "modern abbau" in the form of a large winter garden. from the young restaurant team we were kind and competently supervised. we can therefore recommend the füxl without restriction. in the constructional equipment of the gas room, however, is -from our still potential for improvement. (e.g. view of the "long table series in the big niche in direction bar / theke.)"

Der Service mit Angelina ist hübsch verpackt und zeigt Kompetenz und Zuverlässigkeit Insgesamt Fünf Sterne von mir TOP

Excellentes Essen und auch Bewirtung. Lieben Dank an Angelina und das ganze Team für einen unvergesslichen Abend. Wer schreibt. man wird nicht satt, hat für mich einfach kein normales Maß. Das Tartar war das beste was ich je bekommen habe, toll abgeschmeckt, auch der Hauptgang. Gepflegtes und gemütliches Ambiente im offenen Hinterhof Bereich. Weinauswahl sehr gut und für jeden was dabei. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, ganz großes Lob!

we were welcomed very kindly and decided to use a menu with wine tasting. the main court and dessert were, however, "only" very good, there was no trace finesse. the weeping lead was solid, maybe a trace uninspired, yet good. the young service was probably somewhat overwhelmed this evening, perhaps also new - in any case it is not that it is personally insulted when you point it to a mistake (missing dessert wine). a little inflexible also appeared that the prayerful aftershine of red wine first appeared on the bill. here you could work on the sovereignty. the drink selection at the bar is sensational good. overall, I would come back to the next Bregenz-stay on all occasions!

"Another entry into the list of Things that are Awesome about Austria, in a small town (a suburb of Bregenz, essentially that is part of the eastern Bodensee resort scene. We showed up without a reservation, and were seated in the pleasant garden, the tables far apart to ensure privacy in conversation and discreet movement by the staff, always a good sign in a better restaurant. We were offered a refreshing shot of watermelon juice at the start good, although more usual between dishes in a longer menu. We started with seafood: a superb combination of tuna, greens, and veal (unexpectedly good, and the preparation of the tuna put to shame many establishments supposedly specialising in seafood ; and an octopus based dish, which did not enthral Mr A, who objected to the combination with mussels. (Is this a central European thing? The closer you go to the Mediterranean, the simpler the serving of octopus: it has a delicate flavour, and does not require much done to it. If it had been served as in the other starter, it would be better, he said. For our mains we went for rib eye steaks with chimi churry (sic which we both found excellent: cooked to a perfect medium rare, with just the right amount of bite in the centre too often restaurants do a medium rare with the core of the meat nearly raw, which misses the point: a good medium rare locks the flavour in; if you slice it and too much seeps out, it's not done properly. Mr A declared the accompanying skin on potatoes were very good. I should have asked why the beef was imported from the US; Austria has amazing local beef (the Vorarlberg pastures are just round the corner! . We finished off with a delicate combination of chocolat,e pistachio, and cherries (for myself and an caloric explosion of ice cream and hot chocolate for Mr A. The Merlot recommended was just right for the meat, the espresso was decent, and the service was excellent. The prices are on the expensive side: our three course meal with only two glasses of wine and a soft drink cost as much as I'd expect the same meal with a whole bottle of good wine to cost. But, hey: you get what you pay for, and this was worth it. We'd go again, happily."
