In an early evening we drive to the premises of the restaurant “Zum Moorteich, Parking on one of the few still free parking spaces and tell us that it can actually be just a good sign if many people have found themselves in this rather remote corner of Scharbeutz for food. We enter the premises where the premises have the right word, because with regard to the eye we see tables and chairs of light wood, rustic, rural. Once a week is grill. Due to the heat we choose light food: vegetable dish. However, we are undecided whether we should choose the small up to €12.50 or the big one. After another 20 minutes waiting time, the service comes to us, which we still sit on the terrace and flash into the sunsets, while the restaurant is full of roughness. It brings wine and water to which we have waited with increasing impatience in the face of the heat. She apologises for the long waiting period, picks up the order and advises us in the small part, as she – in her opinion – is very large. After 20 minutes, the plates are served: ui, how do the big plates look?! The herbal sugar beet, peas, carrots, princely beans, mushrooms, leek, broccoli, cauliflower, cauliflower, rose cabbage, 1 delicious tomatoes with cheese is boiled to the point, but tastes despite sauce Hollandaise 'a Bisserl fad', so completely without herbs, not even a small parsley was donated. The service was very nice, but overwhelmed by the urge and the food... nix Dolles, but I will certainly visit the restaurant again and choose another dish - up-date will follow if necessary."

We were going to eat our New Year's stay in Scharbeutz almost every day. Eating is very rich and very tasty.We have eaten nowhere as well as there in Scharbeutz. The services were always very nice...but we also have to say it really quite fresh. But we can still recommend eating there. We will do it again and again in our next holidays. Ich wollte während der Corona Pandemie telefonisch ein vegetarisches Bauernfrühstück zum Mitnehmen (Selbstabholung) bestellen. Dieses sollte 14 Euro kosten! Als ich sagte, dies sei aber teuer, antwortete der Chef pampig, es würde mich ja niemand zwingen, dies bei ihm zu bestellen und zu essen. Unfreundlich und überteuert! Schade, Chance verspielt sonst wäre ich nach dem Lockdown sicherlich auch mal ins Restaurant gegangen. So bleibe ich weiterhin bei den Mitbewerbern und habe ein schmackhaftes Bauernfrühstück mit Salat und Kuchen für unter 10 Euro in Scharbeutz abgeholt. Kundenservice und Orientierung geht anders!
