"Wie oben beschrieben, war die Bedienung wirklich sehr nett und freundlich. Wir sind gegen 20:30 Uhr am einem Dienstag dort angekommen - also recht spät. Das Ambiente ist in 3 geteilt. 1: ein moderner Teil - der Eingangsbereich, 2: Ein Wintergarten und 3: ein weiterer Restaurantteil - eher rustikal. Wir waren im Wintergarten. Ganz nett - aber sehr ungemütlich - es war nicht kühl sonder eher kalt. Ich musste mir nach dem Essen die Jacke über ziehen. Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht besonders gut. Ich hatte Adana Kebab gehabt und meine Frau Leber. Die dazugehörigen Pommes waren nicht durch frittiert gewesen. Das Fleisch war ganz ok. Mit den Getränken kamen wir ca. 27€ was wirklich OK ist. Aber um nochmals wieder hingehen zu können - fehlte mir leider das "Jo, super" Efekt."

"Wir waren Pfingstmontag gegen Nachmittag dort und saßen draussen. Der Service ließ lange auf sich warten und war auch sehr kurz angebunden. Beim Essen gab es anstatt Kalbsschnitzel(wie bestellt) rohen Schinken mit Spargel.Hier war schnell klar das mindestens eine Servicekraft fehlte. Leere Gläser blieben auch leer und das Zahlen wurde zur Geduldsprobe. Nach Nachfrage hieß es Verstärkung sei unterwegs.Das Essen war allerdings sehr gut!!Hoffentlich war die Sache mit dem Service nur eine Eintagsfliege....."

"on the second evening in kempen, our host had invited the entire delegation to this Italian restaurant, in which I had already made good experiences before and with some difficult customers. together with a colleague who lived in the same hotel, I entered the restaurant at the agreed time. our hostes had already arrived and called us to the reserved large table. the other guests arrived a few minutes later. the first two business friends were already drunk. hardly that we had taken a place, an operation came to the table and asked for our drinks. the ordered drinks were served after a short time, the beers were well tempered. only when all guests arrived and the first drinks were also served for them were the menus distributed. our host asked for menus in French for our guests from Africa. after various experiences in the menus in foreign languages in other restaurants I was almost sure there would be a cancellation here. it was regretted, however, that in the three years only two games are available in French. in our somewhat amazed question, the service has told us that in this house of course menus are available in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. a big plus! during our stay in the restaurant we were always attentive, always friendly and courteously supervised by the young ladies in the service. eat the menu offers Italian cuisine over the widely used pizza and pasta unique. Sure, there are also pizza, but as I have already written in my previous review, this does not seem to be the strong side of the house. Instead, the focus is more on fish and meat dishes that can be found in good selection on the menu. Unfortunately I did not find any homepage of the restaurant so that I can not refer to a saved menu. the menu stored on another gastroportal is no longer up to date, here neither the prices nor all the dishes are correct. our guests were not vegetarian this time, but to the partly moslems, so that dishes with pork fancy for them. so it came that we chose almost all steaks in different compilations. I also had the “Filetto dello koch, filetsteak with deep sea cancer, champignons, garnel and crumbs, with white wine and a shot of creamed” (26.50 €, others from the ordered “Bistecca satana, rumpsteak with tomato, garlic, peperoni, olive, occupied with mozzella) after a moderately medulous services only the steaks were very good, according to the desired cooking degree, the meat of good quality, very delicate and simply very tasty. Environment in the front area, where it is almost only two, can be a little aware and loud when the house is full. we had a large round table in the back area of the restaurant, it was quite quiet and very pleasant. for a further description I refer to my previous review. cleanliness of the gas room was perfectly clean and well maintained, with the glasses, glasses and cutlery there was also no reason to criticize. the toilets are in the cellar and are accessible only via a quite steep staircase. the device is quite modern, technical in order and on this day perfectly clean."

"im letzten Jahr haben wir den 65. Geburtstag von meinem Mann mit einem Frühstück im Bruxhof gefeiert, die Chefin und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. In diesem Jahr wollten wir das mit meinem 65. Geburtstag wiederholen, wurden jedoch sehr enttäuscht. Unsere ersten Fehler waren nicht pünktlich um 10.00 Uhr zu kommen, Sekt und Orangensaft für 10 Personen dauerte ca 20 Minuten, da die Bedienung zwischendurch noch andere Sachen machen mußte!Bei ca 30 Personen insgesamt waren die Platten, Schüsseln schnell leer und meistens wurde nur auf Nachfrage(z.B.Speck für Rührei in nur geringfügiger Menge, Marmelade, Schwarzbrot und Fisch gar nicht) nachgefüllt bzw nachgelegt. Unserer Meinung nach ist das Personal überfordert, eine Bedienung (war sehr freundlch und bemüht) und die Chefin, die übrigens sehr patzig sein konnte "der liebe Gott hat mir nur zwei Hände gegeben" ist einfach zu wenig. Ich habe mich sehr geärgert und hätte mir für meinen Geburtstag eine schönere Feier mit meiner Familie vorgestellt aber das ist im Bruxhof wohl nicht möglich. Schade!"

"idyllic restaurant with the great original charm of an old factory house. nice waiters but catastrophic waiting times. Despite only 5 tables, which have not been ordered at the same time, it took just an hour to get to the table. it was not much better for the dessert. Apart from the waiting times, the menu is really good with a great selection and taste quite far ahead. also for the small ones there are dishes, as for example apple pancakes in mickey maus shape. even if these look great, but should be reconsidered whether it is really necessary to drown pancakes for small children in powder sugar. ours would have loved him without sugar. Besides alternatives for the small ones there are also gluten-free alternatives that can be seen."
