"The most characteristic place of Montefollonico. We have eaten delicacies of the area really not to get away, starting from the pines to the pecorino in the form of Pienza made in the house by the wife of the host Mrs. Simonetta, as second we could not not not take the Fiorentina melted in the mouth all accompanied by an excellent wine always recommended by the expert oste, to conclude the always fresh and handmade desserts! The quality I think is really high, the price quality ratio is very honest. We consider that in 4 people we took pears for three,Fiorentina from 2kg and a contour two sweets and a bottle of wine we spent 43€ per head (only of wine were 25€ . Really deserved I will definitely return."

"fantastic and unexpected vegan restaurant in the heart of Tuscany. the dishes come partly from the regional tradition adapted to the needs of a vegetarian / vegan audience, and for this reason it has pleasantly amazed! it was all very good, we could not have asked better, moreover it gave us the opportunity to discover a small village to say little enchanting. "The small sign by the road said Ristorante .. we couldn 't resist driving up the drive to see what was there. A restored farm house and stable was now a beautiful dinging room. We made a reservation for one of the 6 or 7 tables and didn 't know what to expect on return. A family farm with a Executive chef from well known restaurants in the area Chiusa for one.. had returned to the family farm to create food without the fast pace and stress. All was fantastic... Nice little tidbits that were complimentary made everyone feel welcome. Pasta, Pork and a huge Bistecca Chianina to share A full 31 oz. Restaurateurs that put you at a table that they would love to sit at the head of... make for the best of the best. Will go again before returning to USA."

"There were 2 of us for lunch, and between us we had 5 dishes. 4 were excellent beef tartare, beef tagliata, a citrus mousse, and a fruity cheesecake. The fifth dish was inedible lamb with green beans. The lamb consisted of marginal pieces of lamb (mostly bone) way over cooked, and the green beans weren’t even green but a grayish color that didn’t even taste like a vegetable. Most Italians can’t cook fresh vegetables correctly, but I keep hoping that the better restaurants will be the exception. Not so far. Perhaps that is why there is seldom much of a choice for side dishes in restaurants. And this coming from someone who lived in the country for more than 10 years…….."
