5 of us have tied an unplanned coffee break and a pizza. we were received even though it was 9 o'clock or so. very friendly staff and cheap, right! recommended!

Lovely meal as usual at this family run 5 restaurant. Very friendly management and staff and the food is always delicious and fairly priced. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Food was all good, very tasty and definitely all seemed fresh. Service was very friendly and welcoming, attentive throughout the meal. Represented good value for money we thought. Service not included but definitely made sure to leave a tip!

Have been visiting here for around 20 years. Always received a warm friendly welcome and constantly provided with the best quality food and service. On a nice day you can get a good view across the Thames estuary. I look forward to trying their new restaurant!

yesterday evening with my daughters sitting here before a show and although the place was packed out, the personal was friendly and attentive. the food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. garlic bread, olive, 3 main thing and 3 drinks for £52, which is not to love. will definitely be back to visit.

This restaurant is truly fantastic, offering warm and welcoming service (we arrived without a reservation, yet they accommodated us). The food was exceptional. The calamari appetizer was incredible—crispy and tender. The pizzas were superb, topped with generous slices of prosciutto cotto. The rest of the menu and the specials also looked equally inviting. We will definitely return the next time we’re in Southend.

yesterday evening with family and friends, among them children, be there. we reached late and our was a last order before the restaurant closed. eating is delicious and seems authentic Italian sans of orange juice, which was from the dose and the server was honest about it. the personal is simply great, esp rita, who is a jewel of a person. she knows how to get a smile on a child's face and go on. thank you for making our evening special, despite this last order! highly recommended!

If you want to visit the best Italian restaurant you can, look no further. Flying Pasta simply blows all of the chain Italian restaurants out of the water. The food and service are top notch, and this is a restaurant where booking ahead is a must. Both the Pollo E Pesto Rosso (pictured) and Lasagna Al Forno are the best you will ever have. Not our first visit and definitely not our last, this is the best place to visit before or after a show at the Cliffs Pavillion.
