Came in excited to have a vegan scone, only to be told that they are all made with egg

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Nice and friendly staff. Excellent sandwich with salmon and cream cheese, tea, coffee and crumpets. Will definitely come back.

delicious vegan scenarios and the kichererbsenpatties here. the hot chocolate is also vegan, the waitress kindly checked us. very friendly staff. nice to turn on in cold days and sit on fire.

We had the chickpea patties meal. It was delicious. Followed by a fruit scone that the chef told us was vegan. Just lacked vegan cream. The interior is delightful and we sat near an open fire. Would definitely visit again.

I had one of the best meals I've ever had in Britain at this restaurant! Everything was fresh and flavorful. The Stilton avocado bag is amazing. The tomato and crab soup was a little fishy, but still very fresh. The beer here is the best I've had. And the cheese coffee was absolutely delicious! Voir le carte

beautiful enough, a few vegan options, but our beautiful friendly waitress had clearly no idea what vegan means, although she tells us that she is a peskatarian. showed tagbook free steak pipe! Küken-Pea patents were in order, but a bit dry. jacket kartoffel and buzzing was more tasty. average eating £24.00 lunch for 2 with non-alcoholic drinks

when I visited rye, it was rainy and cold. there were not so many tourists. this restaurant was open and seemed to welcome visitors. So we had lunch there. we had typical English meal like Banger-Mash, a jacket kartoffel, suppe. the foods were delicious, but I think we have ordered too much for 2 of us because my family did not recognize the size of the kartoffel. Anyway, we had a good time and it became one of our beautiful memories in Britain, which we still talk about and laugh. thanks for the beautiful homemade meal! I love the picture of lady's room door.

I found this cafe just before closing time. So I was not able to have a main course there. However I was astonished to find that not only were home made vegan scones available (they happened to be also gf), the waitress asked me if I would like soya cream and jam with them too. So I didn't have to miss out. There was soya milk on offer with the hot drinks, of which there was a good range. What impressed me was the friendly service. In spite of it being a blisteringly hot day and the town heaving with tourists, the staff remained friendly and pleasant.
