It is so, so good, this place. The food is tasty, the service is pleasant, the location is calm. Most enjoyed meal I had in Palermo.

Nothing exhilarating, interesting dishes on paper but less in reality, definitely not tasty. Friendly and helpful service, good wine card.

A stone's throw from the Spasimo is Flam, a small tavern where you really eat well! The room has two interior rooms and some outdoor tables; it is very nice in details but unpretentious! The staff is friendly but not intrusive, always ready to some advice. Two appetizers, two first, one second, a glass of wine, one zibibbo and a coffee cost 60 euros, an honest price, taking into account the quality of the dishes. The club suffers a little bit the central area, but a walk to here, it is worth it!

We had a perfect night at Flam! Literally everything was perfect. Super friendly service, amazing food (even the bread included with the coperto was amazing , great wine recommendation, cozy atmosphere. Most dishes were modern interpretations of classics (as indicated by the name of the place . After doing lots of research online and after reading about lots of tourist traps in the area I must say that Flam was the perfect choice for us. If you want fine cuisine which is affordable, then that's the place to go. It's not cheap, but totally worth the money (see pictures for prices, the bottles of wine were 25-26€ .

We’ve just had a really nice evening at Flam. Food is rooted in Sicilian tradition, but strives to push it beyond what most restaurants in Palermo’s center serve to locals. We had octopus on citrus-flavored purée and bruschetta with clams as appetizers, followed by an Aeolian fish soup (decent serving of fish and a bit of seafood in a light tomato broth with olives and capers) and a grilled squid on chickpea-cauliflower purée with a grilled pumpkin. For dessert a cassata-inspired semifreddo. Together with 2 glasses of Sicilian white, one glass of dessert wine and a bottle of water the bill came up to 75 Euros.
