"At lunch or shopping in Cologne I sometimes have to take a break: lunch is lunch and then in the afternoon a coffee and a piece of cake. This time we found in the area (Altstadt or the city centre is not at the moment a café that promised us from outside (it must be a bit quiet with comfortable sitting in a house – so we went past some small “Imbiss Cafes” . The guest room is very large and equipped with cosy tables and seats. The long counter with the products in the glass box is located directly at the entrance. The store was quite empty and the shelf was no longer very full. But we were kindly greeted and we were looking for a table nearby (the selection was great because almost everything was free. Cleanliness Everything was well maintained. The plant was easy to reach and also in good condition. Service The two forces worked once on the counter and once in the guest room. They did it neatly and turned around. The tasting of almond cherries (4.70 € Similar to a bee cherries were not saved with almond platelets. The upper layer was also really baked golden brown. The cherry layer was relatively thin, but rather densely distributed and tastefully in the aroma. The compound was a jam similar cream. Cheese cream cake (4.70 €) The cake had a delicious bottom of several layers. The cream filling was neatly thick, loose and juicy. There was a lemon paste up there. It was a classic German cheese cake with good cream content. Both cakes were delicious and tidy, but now nothing special: simple and good. Beverages Cappuccino (3,40 € price ratio I personally hold the prices somewhat covered. I do not want to doubt the quality of the products. Sehr schönes und vor allem großes Kaffee am Rande der Kölner Fußgängerzone. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Torten und Kuchen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Hunde sind herzlich willkommen und werden gerne mit Wasser versorgt. Voir le carte

Das Café Fassbender liegt fast mitten in der Altstadt. Und schön plüschig ist's hier; es gibt leckere Torten mit freundlichem Service. Es geht geschäftig zu, immer was los. Und die Preise sind auch sehr ordentlich. Wer sowas mag, kann sich ja mal ein Stück Kuchen im Fassbender gönnen.

Das Cafe hat seinen eigenen Charme. Hier haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kuchen war absolute Spitze. Die Stachelbeerbaiser- und Zitronenschaumbaisertorte waren extrem lecker. Der Preis war schon sehr hoch (5,50€ , aber absolut gerechtfertigt. Beim Minze-Ingwertee wurde nicht an der Menge der Zutaten gespart! Im Cafe gibt es außerdem kostenfreies und ausreichend schnelles WLAN. Wenn das freundliche und zügige Personal auch noch ein Lächeln auf den Lippen hätte, wäre es absolut perfekt.
