"This is a simple, wonderful place to eat. From Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian specialities (whether from inland or the Adriatic cost) to hearty Berlin standards (currywurst) and American burgers (yes, they do them to order!), this is one of those places which don't necessarily draw you in with the visuals, but once you sit down, it's like you can't imagine not dropping in often for every kind of comfort food. Start with a good Pelasajc wine -- this family-run restaurant will bring a tiny, homemade bit of schmalz with wonderful rye bread to accompany it. Follow it with an order of nicely grilled cevapcici and don't forget to ask for ajvar and raw onions and red chili flakes condiments -- they're required. The best fresh cucumber salad, simply prepared with parsely and a bit of olive oil make a fine side. It's a neighborhood place; there are groups of Berliners who come here as a standard for all sorts of holidays (not to be missed in the Autumn is anything on their seasonal menu with wild boar, venison, duck or goose -- just wonderful). It has a sort of peaceful, nothing-is-going-to-change atmosphere. The recent (semi) retirement of Mirko hasn't changed a thing: son, Vladimir and his beautiful and charming wife, Katarina, continue the warm and personal service."

Wir suchten für unseren Stammtisch eine gute Location. Und wir wurden fündig. Leckeres Essen aus dem Balkan. Reichhaltig und preiswert, vor Allem wohlschmeckend. Ein Restaurant mit sehr moderaten Preisen, großzügig und wunderbar schmeckenden Essen, gepflegten Bier vom Faß (Budweiser) und guten Weinen. Das Ambiente wurden kürzlich überholt und verleiht dem Restaurant einen frischen, modernen Touch.Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren hierher und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Selbstredend gibt es zur Rechnung ein leckeres Schnäpschen von dem jungen Eigentümerpaar.Beinahe hätten wir vergessen zu erwähnen, dass das Restaurant auch über eine kleine Außenterrasse verfügt und zur Einstimmung frisches Brot mit selbstgemachten Schmalz serviert wird. the restaurant mirko can be reached very well with public transport means that hold u 2 (Sophie-Charlotte-Platz). the outer is quite inconspicuous and you look at the local light and do not load the front. I had agreed with a few eimers of the old garde and we were as always a colorful social round. the restaurant looked inside as the outer impression had expected, somehow fell out of time, a total of 80s. neat and clean. the service was friendly, but little attentive and so they certainly have gone through the one or other soak order. my Serbian earth soup (in the croats) was unfortunately not really good and actually cost nothing. my bad, whose name I did not notice, was a bit better, but...
