"Bad Münstereifel historical center has been converted in a big outlet store complex. This restaurant is conveniently located right in the center, next to the medieval gate and is in a very nice old building dated from 1618! We were with a group of friends and everybody was very satisfied with the food and the setting. Now is the asparagus season, the veal schnitzel with asparagus was delicious, and so was the green and white asparagus salad with potato pancakes. A glass of Sekt (sparkling wine) from the House was fruity and tasty and not expensive. So in short, good traditional German food and the prices are reasonable! The place inside is big, but the restaurant was not full and although we were a group of 10 persons we got all our food without big delay and simultaneously, but I can imagine that in hte evening when full you might have to be patient waiting for the food to be served. A tip: 10 minutes away with the car, at the Effelsberg is one of the two largest radiotelescope of the world with an antenna of 100m diameter! Very impressive place where the limits of the Universe are discovered. Worth visiting!Another tip is the parking. It is a medieval town on a pedestrian street, so to get rid of your car try the parking at the Triereer Straße which is practically the same street but outside the wall, otherwise the parking "Große Bleiche" both paying!"

The food was tasty and prepared well. But the portions were twice smaller as at a regular German restaurant. Waiting time may be also reduced. After all good spot for tourists during sightseeing.

This was finally a restaurant in Germany that lived up to expectations of good local dishes! The food was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. The staff is delightful. I can not think of a way they could have made my experience any better. Voir le carte

When visiting the beautiful small town of Bad Műnstereifel one first has to walk around the walled medieval centre with its its timbered houses. And when you have stimulated your appetite, go for a genuine German meal in En de Höll. They serve excellent meals, all made of fresh ingredients. Good choice for red wine: de local Spätburgunder. Or have an awesome German Pilz. Mahlzeit!

We were staying right across the gate so this was an obvious place to try. We did however walk around the city. However all the other places open on that evening looked like cheap eats.Se there we went, and we did manage to have a pretty decent dinner at a reasonable price on that evening.Place was pretty full but they found us a table and service was still reasonably quick. In December, dining outside was not an option.
