Eltvinum - Menu

Had a nice meal with friends on the terrasse, food is good, well presented, and correctly priced. Wines were good as well. Service also well done

We found it hard to find anything on the menu that we could eat. I guess it was our fail as we were looking for something more traditional and hearty. Cant remember what I ate but it was OK but not special.

Have had a couple of meals there - all were tasty and very good, including risotto and fresh pasta. A great location to eat with a nice outdoor area if the weather allows, but it's also cozy inside. They have a vinothek for wine tasting...More

What a great hotel. The rooms are large for Europe. The food is amazing from an experienced chef. They ahve a nice wine bar where you can purchase local wines at a reasonable price (and the local wines are really good). I highly recommend the place.

Expérience terrible. Maître absolument arrogant et impoli, plus raisonnable propriétaire mais n'a pas amélioré la situation: ils ont essayé de nous facturer des bouteilles de vin mousseux sans les avoir commandées. Je conseille fortement contre ce restaurant

Warm welcome, wonderful atmosphere perfect for couples, friends and even business. Simple menu, outgunned by an extensive wine list. But don't let the simple menu fool you. It is superbly executed- with a focus on quality local ingredients, superbly cooked, beautifully presented and showing the chef clearly knows his craftThis is a restaurant that punches way above its weight and is well worth the drive (even from Frankfurt). Do book though.

Eu une expérience très agréable avec mon mari pour notre anniversaire. Le restaurant était très bien aménagé avec des bougies, des fleurs fraîches et même l'éclairage parfait. Ce qui peut être une petite chose, mais si important de définir la bonne humeur. La carte à vin en avait ... excellentes sélections locales et notre serveur a fait des recommandations fantastiques! Notre nourriture était également tout ce que j'avais espéré, la soupe était chaude et savoureuse, le poisson était préparé avec compétence, des desserts étaient à la fois agréables et pas trop sucrés! Home Run, nous serons de retour

As you enter the restaurant located in the middle of the small sleepy town of Eltville, you are impressed with the modern decor from outside. We were here for a fixed Menu dinner but the chef had prepared an Amuse Busch. the starters with the aperitif wines outside had been very impressive outside-especially the pumpkin soup. Every dish was served efficiently and the wine service was amazing. I didnt want the veal cheeks as suggested in the Menu. The Chef rustled up a similar fish dish which was very well prepared. The dessert was also outstanding. Great food -great service. Must visit for a bit of contemporary food-with several local wines.

We visited Eltvinun thinking that the food was good the last times we were there, so it would be great to take our friends that we had not seen in a while there. We didn't know that it had changed ownership since the last time we were there. Not recognizing any of the people, but still remembering that the food and the staff were awesome, we ordered and proceeded to interact with the lady who seated us and took our order. She informed us that the restaurant had new owners . Then brought us a complementary soup. It was amazing. And so was the food. The service was wonderful. The food was a little pricey as it was before ownership changed hands, but we expected to pay a little more for the gre...
