"went to the Blackbird for Sunday lunch after seeing it advertised on your page.. absolutely loved it, have to say it's the nicest Sunday dinner I have ever had eating out.. started with curried parsnip soup, for someone that hates parsnips it was recommended by the waitress and it was beautiful. Then ordered the roast beef was totally delicious and loads on the plate wasn't much left when I was finished lol.. outstanding food and lovely staff. This was a first visit for us and definitely won't be the last. Thank you"

"We got the Family deal tonight .. and it was unreal .. My husband walked over and collected it and had a sneaky pint while he waited . He said the service was great , so friendly and welcoming . We got 2xpizzas a garlic bread pizza garlics (really tasty .. a beautiful salad and chicken goujons 2xchips and a big bottle of Fanta, like that wasn’t enough there was also 2 x tiramisu’s included which tasted amazing and 100% authentic Italian.. My husband said the staff was great from the lady who greeted him at door to the guy that served him his pint was just fantastic.. We will be sitting in next time well done spaghetti junction"

"Excellent!!! Can't praise the staff enough for the warm cozy atmosphere. The menu is great with delicious dishes freshly cooked and definitely waiting. It is very important that the staff are aware of the sunflower lanyard and made the visit of my child very special. It's great to see a local business with hidden disabilities. Definitely a hidden gem and a place of rest and relaxation during the week or excellent local living music at the weekend. An experience you will not forget."

"We had a wonderful afternoon at the beer master class at the Walled City Brewery. Josh, the head brewer, guided us through 12,000 years of brewing history while showing us how he crafts an impressive variety of beers on-site. The beers were fantastic, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Additionally, it felt like great value for the money. We also learned about their exciting future plans, which include an expansion that will feature a taproom. Highly recommended!"

"Was pleasantly surprised when i popped in for lunch today tried the marinated chicken tacos from their everything for a fiver lunch menu. Two substantial tacos loaded with filling extra mayo on the side, delicious. I tried their ceasar salad side with it which was equally delicious. Fresh crunchy salad with lovely toasted crutons, bacon. Sauce delicately dressed the leaves without being too much topped with grated parmesan cheese. Was just as it should be not vinegary or overdressed. The amount of chilli in the tacos was just right not overdone. There was more in the bowl of salad, I took the photo after a few mouthfuls The tacos salad paired very well with the dragon fruir cooler which i had with my meal. I highly recommend the tacos. I went on to have a flat white which was very nice served with a shortbread biscuit a creme brulee with raspberries a creme anglais with raspberry coulis, vanilla ice cream, biscuit crumb shortbread biscuit which rounded off the meal perfectly, yum I'll be back. Definitely worth a visit. Inside outside dining area. Friendly informative staff. Riverside view from inside outside restaurant. Lovely beachy mural on wall inside dining area."
