"Our last night in Germany, we thought that we would treat ourselves to steaks and a good bottle of wine and this restaurant was near to our hotel, The Factory Hotel. We looked at the menu first and were told that the steaks were excellent Argentian meats cooked by Peruvian chefs. Sounded perfect. We were served by a lovely Spanish girl who spoke good German and English. We ordered a brilliant bottle of Italian wine, a primitivo blend and it was superb. Some great garlic mushrooms to nibble on with good bread and excellent tapenade was a very good start. We both ordered fillet steaks and my husband who speaks fluent German was clear that he also ordered a fillet. We ordered the same.Our steaks arrived and looked completely different - his was actually a rump steak which he had not ordered and mine was a fillet.Mine was horrible, very fatty and lots of gristle. We didn't even know that fillets could be that bad as they are always the leanest cut.We spoke to our waitress who apologised and said that it could be replaced with a better piece of meat. If I'm honest I was past it by then as there had been a long wait and my husband wanted to watch a football match so we weren't keen to spend too long waiting but I agreed to have a new steak.My husband kept his but I asked for a smaller steak as I wasn't as hungry by then.It then took ages and by the time my new one arrived, my husband had completely finished his. Also I didn't receive a smaller one but the original size, because ' the chef said I should have the large one' but no new sides just a steak on a plate. The steak was excellent, one of the best I have had but it was all a bit late and I struggled to eat it all but didn't want to waste it. We were offered free coffee and desserts. We were too full for dessert but ordered 2 large espresso's which were tiny not doubles. We asked for the bill and were charged in full for my steak, not even the small size which I'd asked for. We had been told by our waitress that there was a really good new Manager but she did not speak to us once, preferring to serve ice cream and polish glasses and my plate with the fatty steak stayed in front of me for 20 minutes whilst the new one was cooked. Why couldn't we both have had what we ordered and steaks like the second one? We felt ripped off when we paid as it wasn't the experience we expected or were promised.Our waitress was a lovely girl but she needs guidance from a better Manager. Had we both received what we ordered and the fillets were like the second, this would have been 5 stars but to serve such awful meat then charge in full when I'd asked for a small steak was unfair and not Customer friendly and for the Manager not to speak to us was poor.We can therefore not recommend this restaurant and it needs to up its game as its in an area where there are several choices."

Great fillet baked potato with acid cream. Ask for whisky in the ice cream. Super friendly staff. Nice owner.

Very nice food and an amazing atmosphere. This is especially the incredibly friendly staff and the beautiful location. Would definitely recommend it to others!

Magnífico trato, magnífica comida y siempre interesantes sugerencias de todo el personal y de los cocineros.Buena carta de vinos de diferentes países y variedades de uva, lo que permite siempre tener un vino adecuado para cada plato.interesantes postrer y buen café.el ambiente muy agradable por al ubicación pero sobre todo por el trato de jefes y empleados

Der Steak-Burger ist äußerst gut mit richtig leckeren Soßen und saftigem Salat. Die Steaks und die Nudelgerichte sind sehr lecker und das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich. Leider vermisse ich als Alternative ein leckeres Schnitzel auf der Karte . The steak burger is extremely good with really tasty sauces and a juicy salad. The steaks and pasta dishes are delicious and the staff is really friendly. Unfortunately I miss a delicious schnitzel on the menu as an alternative.

Wir waren gestern zu viert dort... ich hatte einen Salat mit Rinderfiletstreifen bestellt . Wartezeit ca. 1,5 Stunden .. Salat schwamm im Dressing und war leider matschig . Die Portion selbst überschaubar . 4 Gurkenstücke , eine geviertelte Tomate der Rest war viel Mais und ein wenig Möhren und dann der gemischte Blattsalat und ausreichend lauwarmes Fleisch. Geschmacklich war es abgesehen von der matschigen Konsistenz eher lasch. Der Service war freundlich aber mehr als langsam und überfordert bei nur wenig besetzen Tischen .

Wir waren zu dritt Steaks essen im El Mercado.Wir bestellten vorab parnierte Kalamares mit einem Dip ,sie waren schön weich und lecker.Die Oliven waren zwei Sorten und aromatisch mariniert. Wir hatten einmal ein Surf+ turf und zweimal Hüftsteak Das Fleisch war 5 cm hoch , ohne Fett und hatte ein rauchiges Aroma und schön zart.Als Beilage nahmen wir Rosmarinkartoffeln und Ratatouille , welches in Tomatensauce war und hervorragend schmeckte .Der Sauerrahm passte gut zu den Kartoffeln.Als Dessert eine Creme bruleé ,die köstlich war.Der Espresso war perfekt.

Wir waren zu zweit mit einem Gutscheinbuch ohne Reservierung dort und haben sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Neben uns war noch eine größere Gruppe und einige Pärchen im Restaurant. Die Bedienungen (3 Kräfte bei einem kleinen Restaurant) waren leider etwas überfordert und haben einen eher unprofessionellen (aber freundlichen) Eindruck gemacht. Die Getränkebestellung hat gedauert und auch die Zubereitung des Essens dauerte recht lang (die Küche war mit der größeren Gruppe überfordert). Wir haben Pasta (selbstgemacht) und Ravioli (selbstgemacht) gegessen. Beides war sehr sehr lecker! Auch von der Portionsgröße her war alles super und der Preis ging in Ordnung. Wir kommen definitv nochmal.
