We stopped off here most evenings before we went back to out hotel. Order 'tè inglese con latte freddo ' and you 'll get a mug of hot water and an English Breakfast teabag. It comes with 3 or 4 dainty pastries, or/and choose your scrummy cake from the counter. Sheer Heaven! Voir le carte

Finally a quality aperitif! in rome it is really impossible to find such premises. Situated in the main square near the Cathedral, the Eden is frequented continuously by the locals. Hardly surprising. It is a lovely high quality bar. which offers a vast array of excellent pastries freshly made on the premises. I had breakfast there almost every day of my visit; a lovely cappuccino and a pastry which cost a surprising 2 euros 70 cents. In the UK the price would be surely double. Although all the pastries were appetizing, for breakfast I'd recommend a cornetto alla crema or a ciambella (a large ring doughnut) because I like them ...
