"Had a meal for 15 booked here for a double 70th celebration on a Sunday. The staff were welcoming and attentive and even gave the birthday pair complementary Prosecco on their arrival which was a lovely added touch. The food came out seamlessly and still hot considering the size of the party. The food was delicious, beef cooked to perfection and everyone enjoyed their meal. Portion sizes were generous, even the children’s roast! Excellent value for money and would highly recommend for a country pub vibe with lovely food."

Basics like burger were very good. I had the skate and it just seemed to be swimming in oil with soggy croutons. Good atmosphere and never felt rushed. Will be returning to try the Moules night and hope that my fish experience was a one off.

Amazing Sunday lunch. Couldn't fault anything. Had childrens fish and chips, burgers and a roast and all were perfect. Very friendly staff, best service we've received in a very long time. And the best roast I've had in a restaurant. We will be back soon.
