"Eating casually in a country atmosphere is a change. In this restaurant, good manners and monetary services are put aside and that really feels good. Welcoming, attentive, present, cheerful and undoubtedly a little good-natured, the owners of these places are very endearing and unique in all the aspects mentioned just above. It’s really a plus and makes you want to come back. In this restaurant, you have to be patient because the owner is alone in the kitchen (this is indicated on the menu). Waiting time is approximately 45 minutes. But don't panic, because in the meantime, a large and excellent salad will be served to you with bread. It passes the time well. The food is excellent and homemade. The roestis are the main quality of the restaurant and it shows. The dishes were really well stocked and if it's impossible to finish there is always the possibility of packing up what's left for home. The only downside because you have to find one: I found that the “roesti with raclette” dish lacked a bit of raclette and the cheese lacked taste. But you have the opportunity to form your own opinion with the photo below. At the end, digestives are offered with almost unlimited consumption (bottle service). I've never seen this in any other restaurant and it looked like it was homemade too. WELL DONE ! I highly recommend this place which is a change from “traditional” restaurants. We had a great time and we will happily come back to this somewhat lost but full of good things."

Super friendly welcome, the owners are really in a good mood, we feel like home. The fondue was excellent (we even let you choose the quantity for those who are hungry) and the caramels at the end were delicious. In short, that's good!

Nice little pub where you can get something to eat and where the “barber” serves himself. Was very nice. But the absolute HIGHLIGHT were the caramels that were on the bill. That alone makes it worth a visit. The best caramels I have ever eaten!!!!!! Voir le carte

An authentic place! A real chance to have this kind of restaurant at the top of an alpine pasture with an excellent atmosphere. If we talk about the dishes it serves, you will be greatly surprised by the quality, the price is more than fair, and the caramel offered with the coffee is emblematic!! A real country atmosphere, your dog will also be hydrated thanks to the bowls provided for our 4-legged friends. Les Maillard is an experience not to be missed!

du Maillard and the rosti…oh la la la! The Food: The rosti was a crisp and could be on the outside, and soft on the inside! Beautiful mushroom cream and a good wine to indulge with. I wish we would have gotten some of the beef to go with it, but we would have been waddling out. The complimentary caramels were simply delicious and the house made digestifs are dangerous (haha ! The Service: A borderline flamboyant gentleman was busy running around tending to the tables I don’t speak French but seemed to strike up conversation. The Atmosphere: The top of a hill, on farming land, lies this large farmhouse. We sat in the attic, one of the strangest and unique moments our group encountered we talk...
