"My friend and I randomly decided to try this independent pub on a Friday night in search of good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We hit the jackpot. Although the menu was somewhat limited, we highly recommend trying the daily specials. We ordered the fish dish and it was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. "I visited the restaurant today at 2:30 PM for a roast and wasn't served until around 3:35 PM. There was a huge queue at the bar, and I waited about 30 minutes to be served. When the food finally arrived, I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the gravy, so naturally, by that time, all the food had gone cold. I definitely won't be returning. Price per person: £20–30. Food: 2/5. Service: 2/5. Atmosphere: 4/5."

"We always order from White Horse in Gloucester but unfortunately they were closed due to flooding. We ordered a delivery from here and firstly noticed it was in a bag half the size of our usual takeaway albeit a bit cheaper (although after they had added the delivery charge on it was the same). The portions were tiny but it didnt matter as the food was disgusting. The rice was an odd colour and congealed. The sweet and sour chicken contained more peppers than chicken, crispy chilli beef wasn't crispy and the chicken chow mein bland. I called the restaurant twice, the first time put on hold before I could utter a word then cut off and the second time the phone just rang and rang. The ONLY positive was the friendly delivery girl. Just awful, inedible slop. Avoid this place at all cost."
